This durable, lightweight jacket provides extreme protection in drenching conditions. The Patagonia Torrentshell Parka features H2No® technology to keep you dry, warm, and comfortable in any weather. Plus, this jacket stuffs into one of two zippered handwarmer pockets (with a clip-in loop) so you can take it with you and be prepared for any unexpected downpour. This Parka version of Patagonia's beloved Torrentshell jacket is a bit longer to provide more coverage.
2.5-layer nylon ripstop shell
H2No® this barrier is Patagonia's standard for 100% waterproof and breathable protection. H2No® is created by adding a waterproof and breathable laminate or coating to a high performance protective fabric. This fabric package blocks wind and water on the outside while allowing water vapor generated by your body to escape.
Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) Finish Patagonia's proprietary durable water repellent fabric finish, Deluge® DWR, lasts substantially longer than a standard DWR's. Garments with the Deluge® DWR finish have like-new repellency after years of extensive use.
H2No® Barrier Membrane Providing the maximum available protection in extended wet conditions, this laminate or coating is applied to high-performance shell fabrics. The resulting fabric blocks wind and water on the outside, yet allows perspiration to escape - keeping you dry, warm, and comfortable.
