The North Face Freedom LRBC Insulated Pants grant you these freedoms and more, with a feminine, low-rise cut and articulated knees that bend with you. The Freedoms take the edge off the chill with 60 grams of Heatseeker™ insulation, so you can stay out on the hill with a smile on your face.

    I bought these pants for this season because I wanted something other than black, and preferably ones that don't have that cargo-pants look to them. They fit well around the waist (I'm a small) when I wear thin pants and a baselayer, and not too snug, so I can jump around in them. I'm also petite so they are a little long, but I can just fold them up at the bottom and it's never been an issue. They have zippers on the inner leg for ventilation, which is great. The only downside is I wish they had a pocket for IDs, credit cards, and some cash so I didn't have to carry a separate wallet around. That was the bonus of my Burton pants. I want to say these are more waterproof than my Burton ones, but these are newer and my Burton ones are pretty old.

        Got these for skiing and they were perfect! I wore a thin base layer underneath and they were very warm skiing in single digits temps and very windy conditions. Pretty much waterproof too and comfortable.
