Infidry-20™ - This microporous fabric coating allows for moisture to exit but not enter. The fabric goes through a 3-step waterproofing process to ensure it stays soft and supple while adding durability.

      I wore my last pair of smarties every day for 2 winter seasons and were still going strong. They are warm I dont usually need the lining pants but still breath well on hot days with vents. Could have a better waterproof rating but only noticeable in the rain. All in all i just bought my 2nd pair of pants for this season.

          I love these pants. They are extremely comfortable whether sitting in the day lodge or at the top of the mountain planning your route! I have never felt/seen any leak-through on them. The liner is awesome. When you're done for the day and don't want to wear the main pants in the car ride home, just zip off the outer layer and wear the liner as sweats. Incredible versatility. My previous pants had awkward pocket access. Not a problem here. They are built to keep water out, but let you get your hand in when and where you need! I STRONGLY recommend these pants!
