Twenty years of hands-on research and development have gone into the 686 Plexus Plasma Thermagraph Pants. With roots going back to 1992, 686 has been turning out top-of-the-line outerwear ever since; the Plexus Plasma pants are evidence of that. Using Infidry-20™ waterproofing you're sure to stay dry from above while maintaining superb breathability. Outer Material
Infidry-20™ - This is a microporous fabric coating that allows for moisture to exit but not enter. The fabric goes through a 3-step waterproofing process to ensure it stays soft and supple while adding durability.

Thermograph - Lining panels consisting of quilted polyfill insulation that are strategically placed inside the garment for maximum warmth

              I've been an avid snowboarder for roughly 15 years and spent several years working in snowboard shops. I have tried and owned a lot of pants and these are by far my favorite. They are waterproof, windproof, warm, and comfortable. The thigh/crotch vent is sweet because it is one long vent that goes from (just above) knee to knee. The pockets are perfect (not too big, not too small). Great job 686!

                    This is a great pair with the plexus hydra jacket. The waist gator is sweet and when mated to the jacket I had no powder creeping in even in waist deep pow. It really doesn't have much insulation, but I knew that when I bought it and the temperature regulation is fine provided you layer up appropriately. Realize that these have a tailored look though. So if you pair these with a baggy jacket you'll look ridiculous. Definitely looks ninja paired with the same cut upper though.
