After having stunned my wrists for 4 weeks (couldn't do basic push ups) I knew I had to get a set of wrist guards. The DaKine guards turned out to be nice and slim, they fit great under gloves (don't forget to go one size up with the gloves at least) and have saved me more than once.

Use of the strap can take a bit of time to get used to, but stay on nice and snug

The plastic guard portion could flex a bit more, sometimes it's tough to manoeuvre and stand up with the guards.

Dakine makes the best wrist guards, aside from the LEVEL gloves (integrated wrist protection). They're a snug fit, but tends to run small. I wear a medium in snowboard gloves, but had to order a size Large to fit properly. Aside from that, the wrist guards are comfortable and breathable. Highly recommended.

I'm a beginner on the board so this was a must for me. It got a lot of hard use on the slopes this winter as we didn't have much new snow and falling a lot. Great guards and fit perfectly under my gloves.

Started snowboarding without them and I began to lose a bit of feeling in my hands due to the impacts. A week after wearing these help prevent the numbness I experienced while I was learning how to snowboard.
When getting a pair, remember to also bring a set of gloves to see if they will fit over top.

Bought these for my 13 year old daughter who broke her wrist last year snowboarding in Whistler Canada. She wore them this year without complaint and she is sensitive and often resistant to any safety gear!! She fell once and said she could tell they protected her.
