An all-new hybrid design combines the two most popular styles of wakesurfer, the skim and the traditional surfer. The Shim is perfect for intermediate to advanced riders looking to take their skills to the next level. A fast rocker allows it to carry speed anywhere on the curl and its shorter profile makes it super maneuverable for rotational and air tricks. This new shape also features Hyperlite's all new Dura-shell technology which combines the buoyancy and feel of a high-end EPS board and the durability of a compression molded shape. So if you want the best of both worlds, this is one board that you can't pass up.

Construction and Materials
EPS Core – Expanded polystyrene foam provides a super lightweight and durable core.
Layered Glass – Hyperlite's fiberglass is available in 3 weights depending on the board. Over time, traditional woven glass fibers will separate. With layered glass every Hyperlite deck will have the same pop off the lip year after year.
Dura-Shell Construction – Hyperlite's exclusive DuraShell construction equips you with lightweight, affordable shapes that feel like hand shaped boards.
Monocoque Construction – Integrating the top glass and the bottom glass into one. Generating a more durable board on side impacts thus preventing de-lamination.
