Hyperlite Phriction Wakeskate 2009: The Phriction series has been completely redesigned for 2009. The Phiction Wakeskate features an all-new dual density EVA top with true skate concaves. This means you get the look and function of Hyperlite’s signature skates at half the price! The Phriction series is finished off with a fully sealed 9-ply bottom deck for all the feel and pop that only wood can provide.

This board is so much better than my first beginner board. Its tracks so well and is very stable. The lip helps get some nice pop off the wake or flat water. I absolutely love the colors. Havin EVA foam instead of grip tape is nice so you can ride barefooted and not thrash your feet.

      I have exchanged this board three times already. The first one the pad starting lifting from the wood after the first week I owned it. Then I traded it in for another one and it did the same thing, except it also started to crack along the wood so I traded it in again. Now i went riding on it once and it did the same thing. Cheap Board.
