Product Info

Hyperlite Nomad Wakeskate 2010: The Hyperlite Nomad Wakeskate 2010 series starts with a blended 3-stage rocker line to generate more speed into the wake. Butch built a wider overall profile for increased surface area to give Grubby the extra wake-to-wake pop he wanted. To ensure the ride was not too loose, Hyperlite designed dual base channels for tighter edge hold into the wake. Finished off with more pronounced concaves and a hybrid EVA / grip tape top, the Hyperlite Nomad Wakeskate 2010 is built to win another generation of titles.

Comments about Hyperlite Nomad Wakeskate 2010:

Great board with or without shoes. Shallow fins and wide flat section means that you have to be decisive and can't get too sloppy with your edging into the wake, but do it right and you'll be rewarded by a huge pop. That said, I've never seen so many noobies get up on their first try than on this board, so while it's a very rewarding board for the advanced rider I would also recommend it for beginners alike. If you are used to ride an wooden concave, it feels a bit lighter so you have to give yourself a few rides to adjust before landing your favorite tricks.

I also love the concave profile, the litle curl at the back edge always lets you know were your back foot is and gives you that nice locked in feel.
