Construction

Mod Pour: a performance alternative core made up from the minds of Ronix’s best. A Ronix exclusive concoction of carbon and atoms that have a higher strength to weight ratio providing a stronger, snappy board with less swing weight

The Krypto Cable (blue dot in cross section), is made up of different fibers brewed and woven together to make an unbeatably strong compound. This feature wraps around the profile of the board and fuses with Ronix’s unique Mod Pour Core and monocoque laminated glass (yellow line in the cross section) making the sidewalls the strongest part of the board - not the weakest. This provides a ride not only with strength, but with proven flexibility. Your board will keep its intended rocker shape all the way through the wake, transition to the landing. You’ll feel the board under your feet like never before

Carbon R3 Technology, thousands of woven fibers picked specifically for their high tensile strength, lower overall weight, and low thermal expansion; this keeps your rocker a rocker so your board will feel fresh day after day

Jib-friendly, Sintered Base, most durable non-stick compound Ronix has ever tested on rails without losing any glide on the water

Rocker and Base Features

Unique 3-Stage Rocker: Specifically designed rockerline that mimics the natural transition of the wake providing smooth, fast glides up to the wake, off the wake, and for those big turns in between. Designed to provide more speed up to kickers and through transitions, this rocker utilizes specifically placed fins to allow the board to respond as quick as the rider can control it

Shallow exit channels help reduce the pressure of the water making for a forgiving, smoother ride on all sorts of terrain

Thin board profile reduces swing weight

4 fiberglass 1.0” inch fins and 4 fiberglass 0.8” inch slider fins; a fin actually designed to be seshed on rails. Engineered with a wider profile, flatter bottom surface, and durable construction have no worries these fins are ready for it all. Also designed for riders that like that “finless feel”, the wider design creates turbulence under the board giving it a looser contact with the water

Rails/Edges

Deep rails from end to end creates more effective edge on the water. The deepest center rail creates super quick edge transfer and provides reliable lines into the wake in the choppiest of water

Additional Features

A speedy wakeboard brought on by the hands and mind of Ronix owner Chad Sharpe. Chad is a WWA World Champion and knows what a wakeboard needs to function and perform at a world champion level

Part of the Ronix A.T.R. (All-Terrain-Ride) line of wakeboards, offering superior performance wherever the wake takes you

Artwork – Screened UV clear top, metal flake ink, gun metal top emblem, etched badge underneath the topsheet

Comments about Ronix Viva ATR Edition Wakeboard 2011:

I couldn't find many reviews on Viva ATR previous to purchase but I have been on enough boards to know that the overall design and concept was what I was looking for. The Ronix boards and binding setups are super light which I like for good pop and hang time. I had read on one of the reviews that this board was hard to butterslide, and I say, "what have you been riding on man"? All you have to do is think about it and this board is slidin' backwards & forwards with no effort. But when you're ready to hook up and roll on an edge this board is there and carving, very predictable and very forgiving on missed landings. By the way this board handles rough water well, without beating you up to badly in the choppy flats. The overall finish quality was a little sub-par for Ronix's usual high quality standards, but it may have been this particular individual board, a couple of weeks of beatin' up on the lake and who's to know the difference.
