Product Info

A soft version of the other Phoenix, the Ronix Phoenix Project S Sintered Wakeboard has even more control on rails and feel on the water. Opening a new spectrum of board designs and riding styles for consumers, this board continues to build energy as you ride, not dampening the ride like most boards out there. You’ll be able to feel the shift in board energy from the nose to tail the longer you wait due to the unique layup and wide 28” stance option. The Phoenix Project S is an awesome choice regardless what style of riding you’re doing. Did we mention it was a Transworld Wakeboarding Editor’s Pick? No big deal.

Product Details

Construction

Stored EnergyLets riders approach and leave the wake the way a snowboarder would a kicker. The delay in energy means the rider is given more time to generate the full lift from power building from the tip to the tail.

Krypto cable combined with Monocoque laminated glass; this cable makes the sidewalls the strongest part of the board.

Torsionally stiffer ride and more durable construction with the Monocoque wrapped glass from top to bottom.

Rocker and Base Features

Blended RockerCombines speed and consistency off the wake from early rocker, and the explosive vertical snap of Ronix’s late rocker. Perfect for riders with varying styles.

Sintered BaseThe most durable base material tested on rails without loosing any glide speed on the water with a higher purity of a compound that preserves its bond over time.

Rails/Edges

Full center rail creates a smooth transferring board from edge to edge

Blends to a more vertical sidewall in the tip and tail allowing the board to ride higher on the water with more glide speed

Additional Features

4 Slider FinsDesigned to session on rails with a wider platform, flatter bottom surface, and durable construction

4 fiberglass 1.0” ramp fins

Deep symmetrical channels help with acceleration through a turn and push the rider into the wake

Overall, This Board is Amazing

By

Comments about Ronix Phoenix Project S Sintered Wakeboard 2012:

I like that it has a softer flex. This makes it great for smaller riders, especially females. It is great at the cable park because of the soft core. It's very durable too. It is also very lightweight which makes it easier to control. Pros: lightweight, stable, durable, softer core Cons: The smallest size it comes in is a 137 (I'm about 100 pounds and the 137 works perfect for me on rails and obstacles) I like my boards bigger because they provide more stablility and flex when I'm at the park. The Phoenix S is overall a fantastic board. I can't really think of any negatives. It is a bit slow and kind of drags behind the boat, but I would definitely recommend it for rail riding. If you are looking for a good, aggressive, fun cable board, the Phoenix S is a fantastic choice!Energy drinks aren't the only things that give you wings. Find your inner power animal and soar with the Phoenix S!

Comments about Ronix Phoenix Project S Sintered Wakeboard 2012:

So far I've used the board once in the cable park and it's great for use on features and it's been awesome. The board has awesome flex but pops back just enough to be able to get that nice release off of a feature. So far I can't find anything wrong with it. I use 2012 ronix one bindings with it.

Comments about Ronix Phoenix Project S Sintered Wakeboard 2012:

This board floats across the water easily but is a touch slower on turns than my last board. Gets great air off the wake and lands smoothly.

I would recommend to beginner and intermediate users.
