Product Info

In the Ronix era, Parks Bonifay has taken his signature hard edging, quick reacting, explosive style of riding and blended it with user friendly features to make the Ronix Parks Modello Wakeboard. A thin, wide profile reduces the swing weight that can throw you off your game, and a wide profile gives you more coverage on the water so you can balance yourself out and have more control of the board. The Mod Pour makes the core of the Parks Modello Wakeboard ultra light, so you can control it on the water and in the air, while the Monocoque Construction and Krypto Cable sidewalls keep this board together and make it durable enough to handle hard falls and a few bumps and bruises. Customize your ride on the water using the 8 included fins and know that, once you step onto the Ronix Parks Modello Wakeboard, you are riding something totally new, different, and made just for you.

Shape

Thin ProfileReduces swing weight

Wide ProfileWith this much surface area, Ronix balanced it out with more sidecut for the right amount of effective edge on the water.

Rails/Edges

Center Variable EdgeA sharper rail and a softer bevel create a controlled accelereated edge transfer with a forgiving bottom design.

Tip / Tail Variable EdgeAn even more vertical rail allows the end of the board to ride higher on the water and prevents the board from burying the edge on big cuts with a sharper bevel for quicker response into a turn.

Core

Mod PourA demanding alternative foam made from Ronix's exclusive blend of materials, this core has the highest strength to weight ratio Ronix has ever tested, setting the standard of the most refined recipe of foam in the market.

Laminates

Krypto CableDifferent fibers woven together surround the profile of the board and are fused together with the Mod Pour Core. Combined with monocoque laminated glass, the sidewalls are the strongest part of the board.

Monocoque ConstructionIntegrating the top glass and the bottom glass into one to generate a more durable board on side impacts thus preventing the ol’ side delamination

Base

Clean Bottom DesignThe board lands with more natural forward

Fins

4 Alloy 1.0" fins & 4 fiberglass .8" babooshka fins

Additional Features

Glide SpeedPuts smiles on riders' faces since not very long ago and can potentially cure the common cold

Instant EnergyInstant energy takes place the second the tip of the board hits the wake. A stiffer board allows a quicker way to generate lift off the transition as the energy takes place sooner, with a super firm snap off the wake. For riders that can handle the extra kick.

M6 Metric InsertsA higher thread count means more hold at a shallower depth on the board. Boards can be thinner profiles with a shorter insert, without sacrificing boot lock down.

Magic CarpetEvery year, Ronix sources new fiberglass materials trying to find that perfect weave that allows just enough resin to bleed through and adhere to their magic carpet.

Comments about Ronix Parks Modello Wakeboard 2014:

I absolutely love this board! Lots of pop off the wake, and super stable landings. A great board for more advanced riders, yet it is still forgiving enough for beginners. After the first week on this board I had already fallen in love, and it just keeps getting better. However, in high temperatures and intense sunlight (at lake Mead, NV) the board will begin to yellow slightly. Other than that, no issues at all; its an outstanding product!

Comments about Ronix Parks Modello Wakeboard 2014:

Alright, so I took the chance on this thing and manned up and pulled the trigger and I have no regrets about it. First ride out though I was a bit nervous because on the first pull the thing felt like it had a ton of drag and I also felt like I was on a railroad track. It was so hard to break the thing loose and butter around. Other than that though the ride was great. Awesome pop and most important for me was how soft it landed. The next time out I switched the fins to the smaller set that the board comes with and it was everything I wanted it to be. The drag was gone and it was the perfect amount of grip and looseness that I wanted. I have been having so much fun on this board and it's the first wakeboard I have owned where I didn't hate the thing from the start. I'm very happy with this purchase and I really like the camber rocker. It definitely puts more pressure on your front font foot which is great for me because I'm a front footed surfer and boarder so I think this board feels more natural to me. Great board, I recommend trying one or getting one. However, I would try it with the smaller fins in it unless you like the feeling of being locked in on a track.

Comments about Ronix Parks Modello Wakeboard 2014:

All the videos are true, more front foot heavy, I'm goofy and my right leg actually got sore. As for pop it's constant with the viva modello, landings are smoother on the camber, even when I cased the wake on a back roll. Cuts like is on rails never felt too loose. Super happy with this purchase which isn't typical with a new wakeboard for me.
