Ronix Ibex Wakeboard - Blem 2011

Ronix Ibex Wakeboard - Blem 2011: The Ronix Ibex Wakeboard is a solid choice and is approved by Ronix owner and Pro Wakeboarder Parks Bonifay. The Ronix Ibex Wakeboard was engineered with a revolutionary wider (more explosive) base and toned down 3-stage rocker profile. Tested and tested again, Parks found the perfect blend of base profile, rocker profile, and edge profile dispelling all rumors that his designs are too aggressive. Still one of the strongest edging boards in Ronix’s wake board line-up, the Ronix Ibex Wakeboard offers undeniably smooth carving, no edge-catch transitions, soft landings and enough explosive pop to have you wishing you were behind the boat every day.
Construction
Mod Pour: a performance alternative core made up of carbon and atoms that have a higher strength to weight ratio providing a stronger, snappy board with less swing weight
The Krypto Cable (blue dot in cross section), is made up of different fibers brewed and woven together to make an unbeatably strong compound. This feature wraps around and fuses with Ronix’s unique Mod Pour Core and monocoque laminated glass (yellow line in the cross section) making the sidewalls the strongest part of the board. This provides a ride not only with strength, but with proven flexibility.
Carbon R3 Technology, thousands of woven fibers picked specifically for their high tensile strength, lower overall weight, and low thermal expansion; this keeps your rocker a rocker so your board will feel fresh day after day
Jib-friendly Sintered Base, most durable non-stick compound Ronix has ever tested on rails without losing any glide on the water
Rocker and Base Features
Toned down, 3-stage rocker: provides a smoother glides off the wake and instead of the high vertical rocker providing the pop, the board’s added surface area generates the energy. The Ronix Ibex Wakeboard is 1”inch wider in the tip and tail for cleaner take-off, added stability on and off the water with added glide requiring less effort to get speed
Thin board profile reduces swing weight without compromising strength
Wide base profile with more sidecut for the right amount of effective edge in the water providing the smoothest ride with minimal edge catch
Clean bottom design provides more natural forward momentum on landings for a more natural feel when you ride with minimal impact shock
4 fiberglass 1.0” inch fins
Rails/Edges
Center Variable Edge: A sharper rail, softer bevel, and forgiving bottom design creates more controlled and accelerated edge transfers
Tip and Tail Variable Edge: a more vertical rail allows the ends of the board to ride higher on the water preventing the board from burying on those big cuts; the sharper bevel along the tip and tail gives the rider quick response in and out of turns
