Product Details

Construction

The Krypto Cableis made up of different fibers brewed and woven together to make an unbeatably strong compound. This feature wraps around the profile of the board and fuses with Ronix’s unique Mod Pour Core and monocoque laminated glass making the sidewalls the strongest part of the board - not the weakest. This provides a ride not only with strength, but with proven flexibility. Your board will keep its intended rocker shape all the way through the wake, transition to the landing. You’ll feel the board under your feet like never before

Cable Speed Design, most surface area and a sharper rail optimized for slower cable speeds

Rocker Type

Versatile Rockerdepending on how the rider edges into the wake it will feel like a smooth continuous with easy transitions and soft landings, or a 3 stage rocker with more upright pop

Rails/Edges

Sharper Center Railcreates a quick edge transfer that is more reliable in choppier water conditions, blends to a more vertical sidewall in the tip/tail allowing the board to ride high in the water with more glide speed

Variable Bevelrounder radius bevel on the inside of the riders stance blends to a sharp bevel on the outside for a clean progressive edge transfer and hold

Core

Mod Poura performance alternative core made up from the minds of Ronix’s best. A Ronix exclusive concoction of carbon and atoms that have a higher strength to weight ratio providing a stronger, snappy board with less swing weight

Base

2 Traction Channelsin the middle help with acceleration thru a turn and push the rider into the wake

4 Traction Channelsin the tip/tail create a more stable feel on landings

4 Flutes in the Tip and Taildesigned for a cable rider to aid traction of the fins with a cleaner lift with less pressure on air tricks allowing the board to flick out of the water and away easier

Fins

4 detachable 1.0” inch fiberglass fins

Comments about Ronix District Wakeboard 2011:

This board is it if you want something less than the pros but want something you can improve on. I don't think the average rider's skill level is to the point where the board will make the difference, but the District will give you confidence to do better. You can ride out of alot and ride through varying water conditions. Pop and carve is great.

With this board it's almost hard to catch an edge. I've rode things out that I wouldnt have on my old board. If you dig your edge in it cuts immediately. Also the 3-stage hybrid rocker give you the best of both worlds; great pop off the wake and soft landings. Couldn't be happier with this board. [$] Is an unbeatable price for this quality

Came from a very cheap board, but the board took less time to get used to than I thought it would. Very reliable board that has great edging.
It can get speed very easily and easy to spin off the wake.

Waited months to finally get on this board, and it lived up to the all its hype. You definitely get what you pay for with this board. Great pop, forgiving edges. Carves nice, cuts into the wake nice, rides high with super low drag making it easy to ride for a long time without needing superhuman endurance. Would definitely suggest this board for any level of rider.

I use to ride a cheap obrien wakeboard and it just didnt cut it anymore when trying to advance my riding. With only 3 sessions under my belt i have done more than i did all of last year. I'm about 5'7 175 and the 138 works like a charm. My first ride was behind an Axis A22 fully loaded, all ballast full and wedge down. The board took a few minutes to get use to the edging but after getting use to it i can carve like a champ. When hitting the wake this board gives great pop off the wake and will put you in the flats with ease. In the air the board moves like a feather compared to the size. The board works like a charm and i would deff buy another Ronix board when i take the step to a full 3 stage board.
