I bought this board from a recommendation from Kyle Schmidt and boy was he right! I switched from a 2008 Hyperlite Premier 136 to the Witness 140 and I love it! It's way lighter, faster, and much more stable without losing any of the pop. The deep molded side fins work perfectly without the center fins and the board rides much higher in the water. The board is easy to break loose when you want it to but will stick those sketchy landings also. Get this board and you wont be disapointed.

Just picked up the 136 witness with transit package and am stoked. First board and first visit to cable park turned out excellent. Got me right up with no problems and was able to ease into the sport without any issues. Seems like a board can grow into as many of better riders have witness's as well... Good quality for a fair price. No frills with many thrills!

I just got this board to replace my old Liquid Force balance and it is amazing. I rode it for the first time in rough water and with the three fin setup in was incredibly stable. Huge pop and soft landings. The matte finish on the topsheet makes the board feel very durable. Lightweight. I ride it with the transits and it was a good pair. Overall just a sick board that will take your riding to new heights!

Intermediate rider; wake to wake at 75"; spins; grabs; no inverts. Great board very light and easy to ride. Board is fluid, but very responsive and can cut aggressively when you want. I prefer the setup with no center fin.

I actually have the 2008 version of this board, but not much has changed but the graphics of the board. I'm not an advanced rider by any means, but I feel like I have a good sense of how well a board reacts on the water. The best way I can describe this board is that it feels a little like you are on rails. Not in the sense that you stick to the water, but it is very responsive. It has a channel on the outside edges that really locks the board in place. I don't use the extra fins provided and it is not loose at all. If you are looking for something really loose, this is not the board for you. If you are concerned about wake landings, I find them to be as smooth as any board I have ever used. Overall, I would highly recommend this board to anyone.
