Comments about Liquid Force Watson Wakeboard 2010:

I've been riding the Watson line of boards since 07, but this is my first 'non-classic'. Love the board, hate the fins. I love the double spines down the center of the board, rides fairly similar to the classics. I love popping big landing into the flats. Most boards land too hard in the flats, the Watson line shines in this area and saves my knees. The board is very predictable.

When I first got the board, some of the fin's screw holes we pre-stripped... I tried gluing the screws in. That held the screws in the board when the fins broke off, lol, mini fins. I'd almost lose a fin per ride and @ $10-5 for 2 fins, this board can get expensive. 4 stars due to this, 5 stars otherwise. Fins should be a tougher material... Maybe aluminum?

Since the fins break so easily I bought another classic Watson for the molded fins and this board landed itself in my line of wall decor/backups.

Comments about Liquid Force Watson Wakeboard 2010:

The Watson is a great board. I am coming from riding a Shane and a Lyman. The Watson definitely is more loose than those two. Im guessing the 4 cupped fins held the water a little better than the fins on the Watson. The pop is much better than the Lyman and the landings are infinitely softer. This board is an excellent board for riding behind the boat. It will NOT hold up to rails/kickers. After 5 minutes of riding at a park hitting a couple kickers and a flat bar, the bottom was already showing deep marks and the fins are borderline needing replacing on one end. Buy a second board for the rails or buy a LF board with their slider base (it does hold up to rails).

I use this board in a cable park. It's a great feel to ride it, had a great [*] and it's easy to ride. Very good grip and response.

Comments about Liquid Force Watson Wakeboard 2010:

For my style of riding the old Watson is better, the new board you need to use the fins(the old one you just use the built in), otherwise it´s too loose. But still a really nice board. I love to jump, and this board is the right choice for it: you get huge jumps with soft landings, even in boats that don´t really have a big wake.
