I've only got to use the board once since I ordered it so late in the season (river season is over for us), but it was great! Can't wait for May 2013! I knew my previous board was too small for my weight, even tho we're just casual riders. The board is shared by many, but I ride the most. I was afraid the board might be heavier since its 6 cm longer than my last, but holding them next to eachother, I couldn't feel a difference. I feel a little more stable on this one and pretty sure I'll be able to clear the wake on the first trip next season.

I had been wakeboarding for years and my girlfriend just started. Ive never had my own board and wanted to get something that she could also use. We took the fins off and tricks have been so easy, we both increased our skills a ton this year! Great pop off the wake for doing flips and jumps and everyone else that has tried our board loves it!

Unfortunately the wakeboarding season is coming to a close pretty quick here, but it was a great ride. This was my first wakeboard and don't regret this purchase at all. Hopefully we can have one more clam day so I can get out just one more time. Please keep in mind that I am a first timer here but it turns on a dime.... I just got up on the board, and playing around inside the wake testing the edges and just starting to set the toe or heel edge sent me moving in that direction. can't wait to get'er going next year with crossing the wake and small tricks. Would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone starting out!

I am a first year wakeboarder. I have snowboarded for 15 years so i have addapted to wakeboarding fairly quickly. I started wakeboarding on an old hyperlite Factor and rode it for 4 sessions. I hated the Orbit bindings and decided to upgrade to the 2011 hyperlite State and Remix. I now have 6 rides on the State. I feel much more stable on the new set up and my progression has been great although my toe side wake jump is still horrible. Cant say anything bad about the setup and you cant beat the price at evo. Very happy with my purchase.

We bought this board to use with our entire family ranging in weight from 110-200 pounds and we're loving it! We are all beginners so I can't speak to the tricks but my boys snowboard and found it very easy to move around on the water their first time up. An experienced friend used it and said it was easier to turn than his board.

Since this is an asymmetrical board, it is anatomically correct. On one side the fins and rails are more aggressive were as the contralateral side is more subtle. This makes up for the fact that a greater degree dorsiflexion than palntarflexion pointing your toes vs pulling them up. The 3 stage rocker is very smooth. The board doesn't have a ton of pop, but it's a very smooth, playfull board that can be very aggressive if you want it to be. Love this board.

Great starter board! Everyone in the family has been able to get up on it from the 16 year old to the 50 year old! I think everyone is hooked now!

Board is very light. Easy to edge with and gets a nice pop of the wake and flat water. Easy to handle in rough waters as well (Niagara River). I'm gonna use this board for years!!

The board is great to use if you're learning to do tricks for the first time, or just getting out of the water for the first time. The "pop" is not fantastic, but still able to get plenty of air for aerial tricks and movement. Designed for heavier riders, fit or unfit riders can use this board with ease.

First, let me say that this board looks great! This is a great board for a beginner and will preform well in both flat and rough water. The board is lightweight and easy to maneuver. The only gripe I have with the board is that upon receiving it, there were some fiberglass shards on the sides. These quickly fell off after the first use however.

The board is pretty sweet I use it for spins mostly. It's super lightweight and glides so smooth through the water.

I weigh 220 lbs and tried smaller boards with no success. I got this board because it supports people of my size. I am still a beginner so I can't say much about pop and all that other stuff but I like this board, plus it looks nice too.

I bought this as a gift for a friend. We've been wakeboarding for a couple of years and he previously had a "not up to par" board. We decided he needed to upgrade. He wanted something forgiving but also has the pop. EVO had a great deal and we took advantage.
