Hyperlite State Wakeboard 2011: The Hyperlite State Wakeboard is a perfect shape for riders new to the sport of wake boarding or those looking to quickly advance. The Hyperlite State Wakeboard is shaped differently from edge to edge helping a rider compensate for the awkwardness of starting to ride or learning new tricks. The Hyperlite State Wakeboard’s features let a boarder determine their own style. This series is the building block to the rest of the high end line.
Construction
The Hyperlite State Wakeboard is made of Layered Glass with Monocoque Construction, which fuses the bottom and top layers together creating a more resilient board. The core is constructed of Hyperlite’s own specially concocted Bio2 Core.

                              Ive ridden the State series since 2005. I love this board. Ive owned and still own the 05, 07, 09 and now 2 of the 2011s. It sticks when you need it yet slides with minimal affort. Has great pop and lands nicely. I teach and everyone who has ridden this series loves it.

                                      This board is big and that helps us bigger guys get up easier. I have had a 250 lb, 240 lb, and 220 lb guys all get up with ease with this board. I only have a 135hp 3.0 liter motor and we all got up no problem. I can not say much about other features as we are all beginners and little experience. We have caught some pretty mean edges on our first couple of tries but with a little practice, we learned to avoid them.
