Comments about Hyperlite Roam Wakeboard 2010:

This is by far the best board I have bought. Its as close to a snowboard as you can get on the water and allows you to do so much more then you normally would be able to on a standard board. Its got a smooth ride and is great for presses and spinning on the water. When it comes to going big there is no problem with that either. The board has great pop because its all wood and flexes when you hit the wake. It does have to be very calm out to use this board it doesn't do well with any small chop. It is a little heavier because of the wood construction but its not that bad. These also break easier because of the wood construction but even if I only get a few seasons out of it, it will be well worth it. Everyone of my friends or family that has ridden this board (male or female) automatically falls in love with it. Whether you are a beginner or seasoned veteran anyone can ride this board and enjoy it. I highly recommend buying one of these you wont be disappointed.

Comments about Hyperlite Roam Wakeboard 2010:

This board is super fun to just take out to the lake during the week after school and catch some glass and just enjoy the ride.
The edge on this board is really rounded out and through a entire season of riding I have never caught an edge with the roam. Although it almost eliminates catching edges I would not recommend this to a beginner because it has the loosest feel I have ever ridden, and a beginner would more likely than not have a really hard time balancing. But after you have wakeboarded for a few months or so, I would say pick up a roam if you have the cash because it will improve your riding! It has helped with my handle passes, transitioning from edge to edge, learning correct posture while doing ollie 180s and backside ollie 180s, nose/tail presses(why I bought the board ha) because of the flex, and a lot more!
I have had a lot of fun with the Roam and have certainly got my moneys worth. If you are interested and are on the fence about this board, and you think you will be content with simply jibing around behind a waverunner or boat I would definitely give it a try!
