When it came time to design the Murray, Hyperlite
wanted to create a board that utilizes pro model features that Shaun Murray is accustomed to, while still keeping it user-friendly enough that you don't have to be Shaun Murray to enjoy it. To that end, the Murray is equipped with the Subtle 3-Stage rocker line, which gives the board more pop than another rocker type, while being smooth enough to maintain speed in the wake. As a bonus, carving is kept completely natural by the Dual Tunnel base contours. The whole thing is topped off with a variable edge design and an exaggerated landing zone for clean edge transitions and landings softer than your favorite pillow. Grab hold of the Murray, even if your name isn't Shaun Murray. Note: This is a factory blem board and may have slight cosmetic damage.
Subtle 3-Stage - The stepping-stone to the 3-Stage rocker style of ride. By utilizing a smaller flat spot between your feet, a Subtle 3-Stage rocker creates just enough vertical pop to let you know it's there, but not so much that you'll be left overwhelmed.

Layered Glass - Over time traditional woven glass fiber will begin to seperate, but Hyperlite's layered glass ensures that its decks will have the same pop off the double up year after year.
Monocoque Construction - The top glass and bottom glass are integrated into one structure, generating a more durable board on side impact and thus preventing delamination.
Biolite 3 Core - Cooked up in the Hyperlite labs, this is the secret recipe that Hyperlite has continued to perfect from day one. The industry's gold standard core material starts with Bio 3 foam and then is wrapped in layered glass. This yields a core that is strong enough for the best athletes but also perfect for the first time rider, and it is lighter and more durable than any Bio core that has come before.
