B-Side Wakeboard for 2011 has been completely redesigned from the ground up, improving JD Webb’s first generation shape. Reinvention began with the rocker line, which is now set at a 2.6 inch Blended 3–Stage. The Hyperlite
B-Side Wakeboard carries more speed into the wake than ever before. This series also features a shallower, ABS polymer molded-in fin that ends nearly an inch from the tip of the board for a buttery smooth release off the wake and maximum durability on sliders. The elevated footbed reinforces the fore body of the deck to maintain a solid rocker line off the wake, but also allows for a thinned out tip and tail creating minimum swing weight and great control on rails. New for 2011 the Hyperlite
B-Side Wakeboard series is truly a freeride masterpiece.
Monocoque Construction – Integrating the top glass and the bottom glass into one to generate a more durable board on side impacts thus preventing the ol’ side delamination
Layered Glass – Overtime, woven glass fibers will separate. A deck with layered glass will have the same snap on a double after 5 seasons as it will on the first one
Bio 3 Core - a specially formulated blend that has reduced the finished weight of the board by nearly 1/3rd and improved the feel of characteristics over a traditional core
Blended 3-stage rocker
ABS Polymer Molded-in Fins - the fins end almost an inch from the tip of the board, you’ll be saying, “I can’t believe it’s not butter!” Yeah, it's that smooth
Two 0.7” A-Wing fins
Minimal Swing Weight - the elevated foodbed allows for a thinner tip and tail. That’s a good thing for all you spin-to-win types.
