Byerly has always been at the forefront of wakeboarding tech and construction, and the Byerely Blunt is no different. The Blunt features a Flak-Jacket sidewall, composed of strands of carbon, Kevlar, and fiberglass all woven together to create 360 degrees of added strength, flex, and pop. This construction method means that the blunt is the thinnest and most durable shape Byerly has. This is paired with a fully customizable fin system, allowing you to adapt to the conditions on hand, whether that demands a more locked-in feel or a quick release off the wake. The Blended 3-Stage rocker line provides just enough speed while still maintaining great pop, which means you can rip it behind the boat or at a cable-park session.
Blended 3-Stage - Lying between a true 3-Stage rocker and a Continuous rocker, the Blended 3-Stage is designed to boot the rider off the wake, while generating good speed into the wake without the traditional 3-Stage drag.
Reinforced, elevated footbed area
Thin tip/tail thickness
Strategic flex patterns
Tri-ax Glass - Featuring a configuration of fibers running in three directions, this glass allows for maximum durability while still allowing the board to flex.
Flak-Jacket Construction - Incorporating carbon and kevlar strands into a fiberglass rope perimeter adds strength, explosive pop, and responsiveness. The material runs the full perimeter of the board, creating an uninterrupted ring of strength, durability, and lively pop!
Biolite 3 Core - Biolite 3 foam is the lightest and most durable foam formula to date, which is wrapped in layered glass. This traditional material provides a core that is strong enough for the best athletes, but is also perfect for a first time rider.
