I bought this for my girlfriend. She could not be happier. Her quote was "this vest has completely changed my surfing", for the better. She has poor circulation and her hands and feet would always become not only cold, but blue! No more. This vest keeps her toasty and warm for hours. Yesterday she had it on for 2.5 hours and the batteries were still going strong. She was totally warm in souther California water (around 56 degrees) in the vest, and a Roxy Cypher 4/3 that she also loves.
