nice fitting boot. much more control than my old CWB seven bindings. good price on sale. I am an int. to begining rider and boots really give you more of a snowboard boot feeling which I like. Not real difficult to put on, but not easy. Nice and stiff, only used a couple times so far so sure will loosen after a few more rides but not much. Reason for 4 stars is boots are not as comfortable as I had hoped but OK. got a little foot cramp when I tightened to much so had to loosen a little more than I would have liked. but this may be resolved after a few more rides.

I think the ronix kais are in need of some work. Ive had to send a pair back already because of stitching coming apart. ALso the toungue of the boot is too short so the laces rub on your shinns. which is very uncomfortable. If it wasnt for ronix and evo awesome warranty id be without right now.

Comments about Ronix Kai Wakeboard Boots 2009:

I started doing freestyle wakeboarding this year and decided to buy some good boots that would help with my riding. the kai defiantly was a very good pick for that. they where very soft and flexible so i could poke my grabs out and was really nice for doing presses on the rails. my only beef with the boot is that they did not fit my feet very well. i am a size nine and the size 8-9 did not. fit very well.

These boots are super lightwieght, comfortable and allow for a lot of flexibility however they are also the most unsupportive i have ever worn. Sure enough i injured my ankle 3 weeks after starting to use them.

Comments about Ronix Kai Wakeboard Boots 2009:

I got these bindings for my son. He loves them. They do occasoinally come uncinched sometimes, but it it because the latch doesn't get pushed down all the way when he puts them on. They are comfortable and don't cramp his feet during long sessions. They were on sale and really affordable for closed toe bindings.

I bought them a half size small and they packed out perfectly and get optimal performance but this makes it bit snug to get on. I will never go back to open toe bindings. Just don't over tighten them and you should be able to ride all day.

Comments about Ronix Kai Wakeboard Boots 2009:

                    - boot fits snug doesn't let your foot run around.
                    - a little on the rigid uncomfortable side
                    - closed toe is great.
                    - the way the base is formed it seems a little to curvy I was putting in the hardware and while boarding one of the screws flew off when I landed out on the flat. Same thing happened to my friend with the same boots.
