Liquid Force Watson CT (Closed Toe) Wakeboard Boots 2009: Watson was a late bloomer to the CT phase, yet now he chooses to ride this version of his boot 90% of the time. The reason? He feels safer and more in control when ollying to get on a hand rail, or when boosting 20’ off the double up. You can too with the Liquid Force Watson Closed Toe Wakeboard Boots.
Other Features
Compatibility – If you are putting these on any non 2009 Liquid Force Boards or boards without a 6” insert spread, you may have limited stance options unless you add a Retrofit Lock Kit.
Liner and Lacing - The Pillow Top Liner provides extra soft padding where you need it most, eliminating shin and calf discomfort during those marathon sessions. The Dual-Zone EZ Glide Lacing system ensures that your laces and lace loops work together to lock you in and let you out of the boot quickly and easily.
Baseplate – NEW! SL Plate System - Slide Locks with re-designed teeth hold strong and allow for reliable, hassle-free adjustment.
Flex and Fit – Flex: 5 (1 softest – 5 stiffest). Progressive Flex Patterning for ultimate heel side response with progressive forward flex. The Watson was meant to take you to new heights and bring you back down in one piece. Closed Toe Technology for better control over your board. Liquid Fit™ Technology means heat molding is no longer necessary. An exclusive blend of ultra light foam forms to your foot after a few rides so you can mold your boots to your riding stance rather than your slouching stance in a shop.

Comments about Liquid Force Watson CT (Closed Toe) Wakeboard Boots 2009:

Great durable boot with moderate flex. Boot liner packs out a bit with use, so order appropriate size (should feel snug when first purchased). The construction on these boots are much better than my cousin's Soven LTD's which were destroyed and warrantied by LF. However, the boots are not a flexible or light as the Soven LTD's.

Comments about Liquid Force Watson CT (Closed Toe) Wakeboard Boots 2009:

I use these with my HL ROAM. I'm primarily a snowboarder. This combo is as close to snowboarding on the water as you can get. These are by far the easiest bindings to get on and off without excessive heal lift. These are sick bindings.

Only have two very small complaints. 1) Hard/sketchy landings in the flats can lead to a mean case of stubbed toe and it's difficult to pull your foot back after this happens while riding. But I assume this is inevitable with the closed toe style. 2) These bindings required an adapter to fit on my HL ROAM. Will run you about 10 bucks.

These minor cons shouldn't dissuade you from buying these at this price. Well worth the money.

Comments about Liquid Force Watson CT (Closed Toe) Wakeboard Boots 2009:

I own the 2008 model, but I love them. I wear a 10 in Doc Martens (UK) and a 11.5 in US running shoes, and the 10-11 fit me perfectly. Felt a little snug in the living room, but sun and water made them just right. Fairly stiff and sensitive, but I'm a beginner and I don't have a problem with them. Stay tight throughout the set. Good lace retaining system. No real complaints.
