Liquid Force Soven Wakeboard Bindings 2012: The Liquid Force Soven Bindings are built for powerful, technical riding. The dual power straps up top, combined with the laces below allow you to easily increase the support without sacrificing comfort. The Soven is the stiffest of the Pro Model Series from Liquid Force. Charge the wake with confidence in a binding that will stand strong under the toughest conditions.
Fit
Impact GEL - absorbs the shock of landings and displaces the impact from your foot.
3D EVA Foot-bed - molds to your foot and ergonomic contours
Liner & Lacing
Contact Liner - seamlessly molded, with a full wrap design and integrated J bars
Upper Dual Hook-and-Loop Fastener - used for an adjustable flex and support
Lower Lace System - lets you adjust the amount of tension on your foot.
Baseplate
NEW IPX Chasis - molded out of nylon with metal teeth that provides the ultimate board to boot connection.
Flex
5 (1 softest – 5 stiffest) - the stiffer binding provides an increased level of support and control.
Articulated Cuff - allows for fluid forward motion of the upper and lower overlays

          I've been using this so far this season, and they are very comfortable. Even going through some hard falls, they keep your feet nice and glued to the board, with no stress on the ankles (at least not yet!). I'm a lot more confident to try some inverts with these bindings, because they do have such good ankle support.

              These bindings are sweet! I just got these late february and have used them about 3 times now. They were stiff like the 2011 sovens but have gotten more of a "hold" instead of a stiffness now. They are flexible yet very supportive and very comfortable on your feet. I have had a few problems with other bindings that have high arches but these are on the money! You can tweak your grabs and land so solid, the upper boot shifts but the bottom is very firm so you can move around, yet your feet are sitting flat on the board giving you that quick response you need. They are a bit more narrow then the 2011's and do not have the adjustable rails for the upper straps but besides that they are actually a lot better then the 2011's! Enjoy them!!!
