I read a lot of reviews about how these bindings are too tight and too tough to get on. I have to disagree. I wear a size 12 and have a fairly wide foot and a high arch. I have the XL bindings and the size is right. High arches make it difficult to get most shoes on my foot, let alone bindings. when I tried them in my living room they were almost impossible to get on and off. The first time in the water they were pretty tough to get on, but after only a couple of times out they loosened up enough that I can get them on and off with out lube. Once they are on your foot the fit nice and snu. I don't lace em very tight cause the bindings fit snug to begin with, but I've never felt them too be too tight or uncomfortable. No pressure points or anything. I'm no pro, but these bindings do the trick for me. I prefer the open toe, and for the price I got them for on evogear, I love them.

The only drawback, is that the seam near the top edge of the binding seemed to start to split really early on. Could be a design flaw, or because of how much I had to fight with them to get them on in my living room and in the water the first few times. Bindings are supposed to be tight!

These are pretty good bindings, they fit well and didn't hurt my feet too much, while many bindings do. They fit my friends feet well, and were not too hard to get on and off and adjust, although they tended to dry out over several sessions.

The downside is that the seams of two different pairs of these ripped out. To evo.com and Hyperlite's credit they replaced them the first time, and then the second time they gave me credit to a pair of Ronix bindings.

If you're looking for a cheap, decent pair of bindings to use infrequently these should be allright, but if you plan on putting very many sessions on them I would get something more durable.

Looks like a great boot if you have narrow feet. However, I never got them on to try them out so I couldn't tell you how well they performed.

Can't use them. Sizes are way smaller than the sizing chart indicates. That was a giant waste of money. Anyone want a brand new pair of "L"s???

I got a Large and I wear size 9.5, Don't even think about getting them on without lube when new. After a few trips they loosen up quite a bit, but still feel tight when you tighten the laces. I have it on last years era board and if you edge hard your toes touches the water.

Comments about Hyperlite Era Wakeboard Boots 2008:

These are great bindings for the price! These bindings do everything I ask of them. The only negative thing I can say about them is that they are difficult to break in. Plan on bringing some soap the first season of use! My friend has the Liquid Force Transit bindings that are amazing but a little more pricy.

Comments about Hyperlite Era Wakeboard Boots 2008:

I've used these for 2 summers now and they are still in great condition. They serve as "community boat boots" but they are holding up great.

The only thing is that they fit way smaller then the size says. I'm a size 9, bought size 9 to 11 and I need shaving cream to put them on!

Once they are on they respond great!

If you don't have a flat foot, this is not the boot for you. Very difficult to get in and out of. Once your foot is in, they feel and perform great, but you might need someone to help get out of them.

These boots are perfect for someone like me who just needs a basic boot that is comfortable, keeps the board on your feet while you are flying through the air, and for a great price. They are a bit heavy but thats not too important unless you are thinking about starting a career in wakeboarding.
