This was my first set of closed toe boots after holding out to buy some for quite some time. The switch to open to closed toe took some getting used to, but once I rode in them I cant imagine going back to a open toed boot. It just allows for so much more control/responsiveness from heel to toe. With the hinge technology there is zero heel lift and they open up so well they are the easiest to get on and off.

These boots are great! The hinge is a little difficult to latch with one hand while sitting on the swim deck with the board in the water, because you push it down to lock it. But if you don't mind latching them while standing on the deck, no problem! My deck it teak, so I don't like to launch from it...

product rocks. a little on the heavy side but whos to complain? third set of bindings and first closed toes. i ride my friends boards sometimes and hate their open toed bindings.

These are my first pair of closed toes and would never go back to open again, love every thing about them except the quick adjust laces seem to always loosen 1/4 through my ride. Trying to figure out why still. Other wise very nice bindings!

This is my first closed toe boot and i'm hooked. LOVE the feeling of closed toe
LOVE the hinge for getting in/out and stability
LOVE the material on the outside

I was in Hyperlite Drive bindings for two years..this is a completely different (and better) feeling...plus i didn't lose a step. Still rockin the HS Backroll!

First time I put these bindings on, it was a big difference. 0 heel lift, hinge is great for in and out of the boot. Ollie is totally different with closed toe versus open. These boots are not for beginners though, when u wreck, u won't come out of them. BEST NON HYPERLITE PRODUCT EVER BOUGHT!

They're the first pair of boots I've been able to put my feet in easily and don't have to mess with until I'm ready to take them off. The hinge makes a world of difference.

Used these boots all last year and they were great. Don't expect to pop out of these babies though if you crash and burn.
