Overall it is a great boot, but after 2 months of use they started to flake and the leather started to peel off. However Evo and CWB were great and sent me a new pair with no problems.

Great boots, they loosen easily but I'm goin to change out my laces. The boot itself are great, comfortable, adjusts for your specific need, and are light and durable. Only thing is when you land in the flats hard your toes scrunch up. So trim those toe nails.

While these seem to run a little small, they aren't SO small that I felt the need to return them for a larger size. I love the closed toe design and ease with which you can tighten and loosen them.

I had owned the first gen Zeus open toe boots and they finally blew out, so I was looking for a boot that was comparable with them.

Comparing the old school open toe Zeus and this boot makes on realize how far better binding have come. This really is a step up in materials, stiffer base control plate, and a confortable ride. The stiffner plate in these boots make the control of the board immediate enough that you can feel the change over the older "plastic" bases. I like the close toe for the cold water riding I do and when I want the boots to be more flexable around the ankles, I just let the laces go loose and the no heal lift works as claimed... I don't fall out!
