Hyperlite CoEx Wakesurf Board 2010: The 2010 Hyperlite CoEx Wakesurf Board is Hyperlite’s smallest performer has a stomp pad and a concave for more board control. Whether a rider is coming out of a bottom turn or snapping off the wake for a front side air, the Hyperlite CoEx Wakesurf Board is built for performance. The Coex Wakesurf Board features a rolled edge that starts softer and thicker at the tip. This gives the rider more of a surfy feel. Even with its small stature the Coex can still be surfed by bigger riders because it sits higher in the water than most other decks.

  • Special features:Limited Lifetime Warranty, there is no need for buyer’s remorse.
  • Construction:Monocoque Construction – Integrating the top glass and the bottom glass into one. Generating a more durable board on side impacts thus preventing the ol’ side delimitation. Delaminating bad…Monocoque Construction good // Layered Glass – Providing the same amount of pop on your front side airs and shove-its from day one until you’re old and grey.
  • Base Features:Rolled Edges allow for a surfier feel so you can pretend you’re the Kelly Slater of the lake. And when you actually need to turn, the CoEx’s edge becomes sharper towards the tail so you can wow your fans with clean bottom turns.
  • Surface Features:EVA Pad

Comments about Hyperlite CoEx Wakesurf Board 2010:

I think this is a great board. Easy to control, very responsive and manueverable (sp). The grip is great, no slips. Anyway, I have been a boarder and skier for decades but new to surfing. This board has made it easy. Other beginners also got up in a snap so I would say it is great for beginners...as for Pro's or advanced, no idea as I am not at that level. We were all in the 5'5 - 5'9 height range and under 175 lbs.

Comments about Hyperlite CoEx Wakesurf Board 2010:

I am 180 lbs riding behind an '04 X-star. Board is really fun for tricks but I can't let go of the rope yet without loosing the wake. Maybe I am not good enough. My 140 lbs sister can ride this without a rope, no problem.

Comments about Hyperlite CoEx Wakesurf Board 2010:

I am 5'10" and about 200 lbs. I bought this board to replace a CWB Tsunami that was stolen from me. I like a loose ride that can turn hard when on edge and spin easy when flat. This board does both but the problem is that it won't keep me in the wake. I have a 2001 XSTAR with 2500+ lbs of ballast on the port side. My wake is huge but it still won't keep me in it. U may want to go with something a bit larger if your not built like a beanpole.
