The matching flex and sidecut on the full rocker gives you full, uninterrupted edge contact. The more the ski is on edge the more effective that edge becomes, and the resulting smoothness and predictability is uncanny.

3D.Ridge Technology – This unique construction is characterized by a raised central ridge that flattens and thins dramatically toward the edges of the ski both in front and back of the binding. The result is a reduction in mass that enhances the agility of the ski while retaining the precision, power and pressure distribution where the boot contacts the ski.

Multi Layer Woodcore – Völkl freeskiing models feature a multi-layer wood core that features two different densities of wood. In the binding attachment area, a dense, ash core is used, while in the rest of the ski, the core is poplar. The more dense wood creates more secure screw retention, preventing binding pull-out, and the soft, supple poplar section allows for resilience and snap. The flex pattern is tailored to each ski model, depending on the desired performance.
