The K2 Annex 108 Skis + FFG 12 Demo Bindings have been re-worked to give them snappier and more versatile handling, without losing the crud-busting ability they were known for. In addition to a new sizing scheme, K2 made the Annex 108 an even better ski than before and well worthy of your attention. K2's All-Terrain Rocker keeps this ski stable in variable snow conditions, and craves the deep stuff. This ski works great as an all-rounder mounted with alpine bindings as well.

All-Terrain Rocker – Designed for all ability levels, All-Terrain Rocker adds versatility and ease in all snow conditions. This profile features an elevated tip and tail for variable and soft snow performance, as well as camber underfoot for power, energy, and edgehold in firmer conditions.

Freeride Stability Baseline 2.0 – Powder-focused long rise tip with All Terrain Rocker for awesome float in powder, moderate sidecut with low camber for predictable and consistent turns, and a tapered but flat tail for versatility with dependable finishing power.
Powder Tip – Designed to be more predictable in soft snow conditions, these tips are designed to strike the perfect balance of maximizing float while reducing tip deflection. These tips are designed with a gentle arc and transition into the sidecut of the ski.
Directional Taper – Moderately wider tip than tail maximizes the skis performance in the forward direction.
Core
Aspen / Paulownia / Maple – A combination of stout, vibration dampening hardwoods and the lightness of Paulownia.
Laminates
Metal Laminate – Built from the base up, a metal laminate construction consists of alternating layers of fiberglass and titanal above and below the core. Metal Laminates provide damp, accurate, unshakable performance, ideal for expert and advanced level skiers.

If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm. Big Mountain Big mountain skis are designed for charging big lines with high speeds and big airs. Rocker/Camber Rocker/Camber skis pair a traditional cambered profile underfoot with an elongated, early rise tip borrowed from fully rockered skis. This profile places the front contact point further back from the tip, while the rear contact point remains close to the tail. The rockered tip allows for better flotation and less edge catch for increased float in deep snow, while the cambered rear stores and transmits energy similarly to a fully cambered ski.
