A consensus favorite at industry testing sessions, the Blizzard Cochise Skis + Atomic STH2 WTR 16 Bindings have been completely re-designed around the Carbon Flip Core concept. The two sheets of Titanal are still there, but no longer go wall-to-wall, and the swing weight and vibrational mass have been reduced with the new carbon tip and tail. Skiers who thought the older Cochise models required too much commitment will be pleasantly surprised by how versatile the 2016 Cochise is. Don't get us wrong, this ski doesn't ski itself, and it'll still charge as hard as you dare - but it also floats better in variable snow and turns more readily at moderate speed.

Rocker Camber Rocker – Ski profile with a rocker at the tip and tail, camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski even easier to handle and increases floatation on powder snow. The camber guarantees great grip on packed snow in any case.

Rocker/Camber/Rocker Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as well as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
