The shell of the hoodie is coated with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish, allowing light rains to roll off. Black Diamond included two external and two internal pockets, which are super handy for stashing all your high-protein alpine goodies. When you want to strip down to your baselayer, the Hot Forge packs neatly into a mesh pocket, which is easily clipped on to your pack for easy access.
