this jacket is nice for spring/winter temperatures, it is a good shell for snowboarding/skiing with a little extra fleece lining. I love the thumbholes. I'm 5'10'' and 140lbs with pretty long arms and I usually buy a medium, but the medium was kind of hard to move around in (especially near my shoulders, so I sent it back to get a large. The large is comfortable as a shell so i can wear other things beneath it, but has a fitted style such that it doesn't look huge on me. overall nice jacket

For the longest time, I've been looking for a North Face soft shell jacket (like the Apex). But my problem with TNF is that they're jackets hit me right above the hip because I'm 5'8" and I've been looking for a style that would hit below the hip, and cover my butt. This Oakley jacket meets that #1 requirement for me. In addition, I love the subtle plaid pattern of the grey dust (pics don't do it justice!!). There are two exterior pockets, pit vents, and monkey thumbholes (yay!). Haven't worn it outside yet, but overall, I've been super pleased with Oakley products (bought a snowboarding jacket from them last year), and am now a fan for life. So long TNF!
