    We live in Austin where the Winters are pretty mild and this jacket got my husband through the entire season. It's also perfect for either Spring skiing/boarding or for apres ski during the colder months. My husband and I both have this jacket (he bought me one and then was so jealous I had to buy him one) and it is so versatile that we wear it all the time! Note, though, that it runs big so get one size smaller than you usually wear.
