Ask Helen Schettini if she'd send a particularly gnarly line and she won't just tell you "yes," she'll say, "HELL YES!" Lending a hand to her impressive freeride prowess is the Yes. Hel Yes Snowboard. With it's directional CamRock profile, UnderBite edges and ultra stable core construction, the Hel is a worthy weapon both on and off piste. Send it bigger, faster and farther through the next few seasons with the added confidence of the Yes. Hel Yes Snowboard.
Directional CamRock 4-4-2 – Yes' CamRock camber rocker blend places camber between your bindings and rocker at the tail and nose. Having areas of variable rocker outside of your stance with camber underfoot gives you the response, stability, pop, and playfulness you desire for park, plus increased flotation and turning abilities in deep snow.
Flex Rating: 4 (1 Soft - 5 Stiff) – This snowboard has a stiff flex rating, indicating it will provide you with an aggressive, responsive and fast ride. Good for charging groomers, deep powder, slalom courses, and even jumps. Stiff snowboards won't wash out on you easily because they are responsive, have insane carving abilities, and remain stable.
Directional
UnderBite Outline – By stepping the outline in under the bindings (rather than out), it disrupts the surface area that has contact with the snow while the board is on edge. Without any extra rider effort, this disruption effectively increases edge pressure on the areas where you need it most, helping to initiate and hold your turn. The effect is stable edge control and a very confident, enhanced arc in your turn with no drag.
Poplar + Bamboo – Creating a lighter, more responsive core than the Full Poplar. The Poplar + Bamboo uses the same durable core, lightens it up by replacing 30% of the Poplar with Paulownia and then inserts two bamboo stringers down the full length for added pop and response.
Biax
Sintered True – True Sintered bases are harder and more expensive than extruded bases and can be faster for those that ride aggressively fast. But to do that, it needs to be waxed and prepared for local conditions.
Underbite Edges – By stepping the outline in under the bindings (rather than out), it disrupts the surface area that has contact with the snow while the board is on edge. Without any extra rider effort, this disruption effectively increases edge pressure on the areas where you need it most, helping to initiate and hold your turn. The effect is stable edge control and a very confident, enhanced arc in your turn with no drag.
