  • Flex and Rider Style:Flex Rating: 4 (1Soft – 5 Stiff) Directional Twin board with Quadratic shape creates a blend of elliptic curves for easy turn initiation, effortless direction changes and fluid edge-to-edge transitions.
  • Construction and Core:Poppy Ghost Light core with Ghost Carbon XY Stringers buried underneath the topsheet place soft torsion between your feet for perfect board feel and control.

    I live on the east coast so the runs tend to be pretty icy. The salomon special II has great edges that can handle the ice with ease. It has a lot of speed and handles really well. The board is great for freeriding but is still able to hit the terrain park, and not to mention it looks sick!

    I ride the whole mountain and this board handles everything so well. Basically when I want to go fast, carve hard, and jump everything in sight, this is the board I grab. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it takes a lot of work to keep the nose out of the deep powder compared to my other board from EVO, a Never Summer SL that has the rocker shape and floats over the deep stuff. Overall though, I love this board! The carbon is so fun to ollie with and the edge control is incredible. This board is so stable to land big jumps and drops with, and it just simply rips...

      I use this board for basically everything from all mountain to the park. So far I have not found a place where this board does not perform incredibly. Definitely favorite board ever...super lightweight, fast, and the best part is, it just looks soo good! Great board for the price. One thing to keep in mind though, if you hit some deep powder, I've noticed the board kind of floats through it and gets a little wobbly.

          bought this board at the end of the season for a trip out west. moves beautifully in the fresh powder, but holds tight on the wisconsin ice. so maneuverable and light - virtually no chatter with the rubber cushions.
