Salomon Prospect Snowboard- Whether gapping a step up in the park or front boarding an inner city rail, the Salomon Prospect Snowboard is a true freestyle weapon. Rubber sidewalls make for a smooth ride and give a landing gear like feel when coming down from 30 feet. The Salomon Prospect Snowboard is lightweight and poppy, Aspen wood core wants to ollie every little jib and extra inserts help you bang it out with more style. When spinning, the Prospect Snowboard’s thinner nose and tail design will help you get that extra rotation and get you to the rank of hero status faster than anyone else in the crew.

  • 4x2 Inserts:This allows an accurate adjustment of the stance when binding disk holes are used for drag adjustment TNT (Thinner Nose & Tail)- This dimensional tip-to-tail technique gives technical riders un-weighted freedom to commit to another rotation and push the limits of their trick portfolio
  • ENK (Elliptic Nose Kick):Salomon’s quicker kick in the nose and tail is custom-made for transitional stability when hitting natural hips, manmade hits and shovel-shaped kickers. A perfect balance of height-to-length shaves swing weight and a hang-up-resistant shovel shape helps stick landings SWR- With a fine layer of dampening rubber between edge and rail, this construction reduces chatter on hard-packed in-runs, absorbs shock when stomping landings and gives a smoother feel sliding down rails
  • Edge Tuned:Salomon has given special attention to detail in our edge finishing. The edge tuned of the edges with an angle of 1.5° in 2 directions give you improved maneuverability for all obstacles & incomparable ease going from edge to edge Medium Stone Finish- This base structure gives the best glide for conditions that range from foot-plus fresh and sticky spring slush. The coarse pattern breaks up surface suction and amplifies speed, insuring against getting stuck in the flats or coming up short
  • P-TEX 2000 Electra Gallium:Made to withstand rock impact and rail abuse, this gallium-hardened base keeps your board out of the shop. 2000-grade Electra slides fast and smooth without getting greedy for wax, while a medium structure maximizes glide in conditions that range from fresh to hard to slush
  • Select Core Pro:High-grade strips of shade-grown Aspen form the nucleus of this pro-stock core. CNC milling tweaks the ride for max power and on-point precision, while an engineered 3D CAD design cuts excess thickness and makes it the lightest all-wood core in Salomon’s line

Comments about Salomon Prospect Snowboard 2007:

I just got myself a Prospect 157 and this thing rules it everywhere. I spend half my time in the park and half elsewhere. It's ultra light in the tip and tail for less swing weight on spins and super springy for ollies. For $[...], this thing was worth every penny.

Comments about Salomon Prospect Snowboard 2007:

i use this board all mountain style. i like to hit the kickers and love the powder days... it's great on the groomers and really stable... sometimes it's almost too fast it flies for the season off a top notch tune and wax from [...]. I bought this board a little big for my frame/weight. i'm female and ride the 157 BUT this board has been amazing. I'm buying another board (Arbor) b/c i don't want to completely wear this one out... i just LOVE it.It's poppy and carves like a dream... they made this stable board light weight, especially with the burton escapades (girls) that combo has been super amazing for me.
