The boys' Salomon Mini Drift Snowboard is a pint sized version of the Salomon Drift Rocker designed for mini-shredders everywhere who are looking for a board that will take their riding to the next level. How Salomon has mastered the art of the shrink ray, we don't know. We do know that the Mini Drift has all of the same great features of it's older brother model like Pres-Sure Rocker, which makes for a playful and easy ride, Bite Free Edges, and EQ3 for massive pop and stability in and out of the park. Let your mini shredders next big mountain adventure start with the Salomon Mini Drift Snowboard. *This is a new demo product used only for show. It has never been used but may have slight cosmetic wear from transit.*
Rocker Type
Pres-Sure Rocker - Salomon designed this board with a Pure Reverse Camber for a playful and easy ride that's more forgiving and fun everywhere you go.
Flex
Flex Rating: 1 (1 Softest - 10 Stiffest) - Very soft flexing boards are more maneuverable at slow speeds and more forgiving in general and are great for beginner to intermediate riders.
Shape
True Twin - Salomon's true twin shape is a freestyle specific shape with identical tip and tail lengths and shapes creating a symmetrical core profiling, flex and a centered binding stance.
EQ3 Sidecut - Equalizer's 3 straight lines evenly distribute pressure along your edge for easy edge hold, even on a softer board.
Core
Aspen - Full length, FSC certified Aspen wood with high-density birch strips for improved insert retention.
Laminates
BA LD - Low-density fibers allow Salomon to produce lighter boards that are durable enough to keep their playful and forgiving flex forever.
Base
Extruded - Offers long lasting glide with a low-maintenance attitude.
Standard Stone Finish - Salomon's basic stone finish is the industry benchmark for high-end boards.
Edges
Bite Free - A factory fully detuned tip and tail for a smoother ride and less hangups while setting an edge

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker
    Rocker
A rocker board side profile is the opposite of a camber board, with a smooth downward curvature to it and less edge contact length when the board is weighted. Rocker boards float well in powder and pivot more easily underfoot. They also tend to be less “hooky” at both tip and tail and better for landing spin maneuvers when you don’t quite have enough rotation.
  • Shape: True Twin
  • Flex Rating: Soft
    Soft
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
