Comments about Salomon Lotus Snowboard - Women's 2010:

I purchased this board in 2007 once I had become "serious" about snowboarding. I had only ever heard great things about Salomon, and after doing some research the Lotus seemed like a good choice to help me progress--and that's exactly what it has done. I now have better board control and increased confidence overall. I'm also slightly ambidextrous, so I really like that the "directional twin shape" which allows me to switch between goofy and regular stance in a pinch. Keep in mind, I'm not much of a dare devil on the mountain, so I can't review this board's park abilities. But if you like to just hit the mountain and cruise and you're looking to take you riding skills to the next level, this could be the board for you too! My only complaint: after just three seasons, I may have already outgrown my Lotus... the Ivy is really beginning to catch my eye though...

Comments about Salomon Lotus Snowboard - Women's 2010:

Got the board when it first came out, use it mainly on indoor slopes, not been abroad as yet but nonetheless, really good for some one of begginner to intermediate level and am more than confident will be just as good on mountain side.
Forgiving ride, therefore allows you to build up freestyle confidence, found that the edges did slightly rust after 4 days of indoor slope time but due to personal negligence of board.
Attatching the bindings is easier.. salomon have fixed the screws so no losing them when it comes to adjusting bindings etc. Great if on mountain side and one decides to come loose!
Keep her maintaiined and she will do you proud.
        A definate winner for me!
