        Great for a beginner like me who is on the cusp of being an intermediate boarder! Tested it out this weekend at Mammoth on icy morning slopes and slushy afternoon slopes. Worked great on both and gave me a great deal of control. In powder, this board is awesome! It raised my level. I am 5ft3in and got the lark 148. just wide enough for my size 6 salomon pearl boots and raiden lynx bindings (size small). such a great ride that I didnt even get blisters like I normally do with rental boards. get this board if you can! Oh, also, it is just beautiful and comes ready to go as it is already waxed. minor de-tuning needed (take it to sport chalet in california).

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        Amazing ride! Performs as promised — I had so much fun on this board! Excellent manueverability, perfect combination of flexibility & rigidity, smooth and stable ride. I haven't gone boarding in two seasons and the equalizing features on this board prevented me from falling on terrain that I probably should have choked on!

        May ding easily though, as I did end up with a nick on the tail of the board, which definitely shouldn't be there since I was riding in deep, fresh powder (at Heavenly & Sierra at Tahoe) the entire time, so I have no idea how it could have gotten scrapped...

        But still, the best board I have ever ridden on by far!

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
