Salomon Ivy Snowboard - Women's 2010: The absolutely elegant Salomon Ivy Snowboard is a one-of-a-kind board for that one-of-a-kind girl that wants to ride everything from the park to the powder in a brand new G.I.F.T. (Green Initiative For Tomorrow) version of Salomon’s classic Ivy. The idea is simple: eco-impact of riding with no sacrifice to performance. Responsive, faster than its 4000 sintered base, with smooth riding Royal Rubber Rails. The Salomon Ivy Snowboard is the brand new update to one of Salomon’s most popular models and this snowboard is sure to grow on you.

  • Flex and Rider Style:Flex Rating: 3 (1Soft – 5 Stiff) Directional Twin board with Quadratic shape, creating a blend of elliptic curves for easy turn initiation, effortless direction changes and fluid edge-to-edge transitions.
  • Construction and Core:Green Light core, ABC Sandwich construction maximizes the natural pop and quality board feel of bamboo as basic building block material. Lower weight and 25% less plastic content than traditional boards, ABC Sandwich keeps your ride clean and green.
  • Sidewalls and Edges:Royal Rubber Rails protect edges from delaminating and absorb shock, inserted into the high-pressure zones on your board.
  • Base:4000 Sintered base with Medium Stone Grind has superior wax retention and impact-resistance.

    I have only ridden it once and it was awesome. Stable and a good ride. I got nice edge grip into the mountain and it wasn't too stiff. Sturdy board for the steeper, faster downhill racing. This board was also good in the flats it has a decent bounce and pop to it to keep you going. Could be tough for a beginner.
