The best little firecracker of a board I have ever ridden! Handles well on just about everything! I've taken it through powder, backcountry, park, groomed runs, soft and hard-packed snow. The magne-traction (wavy edges) are really great at gripping the snow and initiating smooth edge to edge turns. It makes carving super easy and pretty much auto-corrects your turns whereas on other traditional camber boards you would catch an edge and fall. The board is super fun and very poppy. There is a lot of flex, particularly in the middle between your bindings which makes jumps very easy to hit and land. The one thing I will point out with the reverse camber (Banana Rocker Technology) is that you have to change your riding stance a bit from a traditional camber. Whereas with camber boards you can lean where you need and shift your weight accordingly, with this board, you really need to keep your weight centered. Otherwise, you'll experience a lot more chop. But overall, this is a thrilling, high-performance board that can do everything! Another thing I really liked about this board is that it comes in a small size! I purchased the board in a 143. I'm a smaller rider at 5'1" and it's almost impossible to find high performance boards in a small size. I'll admit that it's pricey, and normally I would've never considered spending over $400 for a board, but you really get what you pay for, and in this case you get that AND much more! Plus, for those who care about being green, this board is made of all sustainable materials. No toxic chemicals, in fact, the top sheet was made of beans! How cool is that? Mervin has really revolutionalized the way snowboards are made, and they hands-down make the best snowboards out there! I'm hooked on Mervin boards and the Roxy Eminence in particular. Don't be fooled by the prettiness of this board, it definitely packs a punch!

Never be afraid of Roxy or GNU.. They R made by Libtech so you are riding a LibTech. Libtech doesnt have a womens spaecific line under that brand name, their womens specific boards are the womens boards in GNU and Roxy boards. Most innovative Board company out there.

I had wanted to check out the Gnu B-Pro, but it was later on in the Demo day and I was feeling my legs a little. So I went for the lighter version of the 2 just as techy board (C2 BTX). The ROXY Eminence so light, and still such a strong board. The freestyle pluses of this board are: good pop (C2), hold an edge (BTX), keep speed, and spin. Torah didn't win Gold in Superpipe with a jib board. I was so motivated that I went for a hike after the first run, and found me some really good wind loaded pow. A couple of faceshot turns, and good maneuverability through the trees. There were some changes in the condition of the snow but it wasn't anything that this board couldn't handle. I would imagine that the Gnu B-Pro would cut through more serious changes in snow condition better, but luckily the fresh snow didn't demand it.

I have always been hesitant to ride Roxy because I'm not a "Roxy girl," but actually this is a good all around board that will go as fast as you like. I like the C2 BTX. It is stiff enough to ride hard, but has a flex that lets you play with it and load it up enough to have good pop. It feels quick edge to edge and the Mag really does help grab on to firm groomers. You can take this board anywhere and have fun on it.

Love the board - Took it out to Aspen Snowmass recently and it was perfect for every kind of riding. The graphics are tight too.

This board has tons of features: magnetraction, rocker, camber, dampened edges, etc.! It slightly stiff--enough to give back at higher speeds. Grip is excellent on hardpack and ice. Only rode it once in powder so far, and it floats fine.

Just got the board from the store and went straight to the mountains! It is very light,fast and forgiving. It is easy very responsive. (easy to control). It does not catch edges as much as my old boards. You get what you pay.
