Roxy Ollie Pop C2BTX Snowboard - Women's 2014

Read the park like a Palm Reader following the lines on your hand. The Roxy Ollie Pop C2BTX Snowboard features C2 Banana Traction technology offering riders the option to shred any terrain with complete confidence, whether its riding on hard pack and ice, floating in powder, or playing in the park. Designed with ten-year Roxy Team veteran Erin Comstock, the award-winning Ollie Pop is her favorite board of all time. Combining a lightweight Envi Alloy core and Magnetraction for a better grip and hold, you'll have everything you need to kill it in the park.
Rocker Type
C2 Banana Traction - Award winning technology, C2 BTX, is a blend of the best snowboard technology on the planet. The main ingredients are Banana Technology (reverse camber only between the feet) combined with Magnetraction (wavy, serrated edges) and a healthy dose of C2 Power Banana (camber on the tip and tail from the feet out). It's the perfect cocktail of progressive technology that allows riders to shred any terrain with complete confidence. Made especially for strong riders, the C2 BTX is poppy, smooth, and delivers end-to-end stability and predictability at high speeds. The result is a versatile snowboard for confident riding on hardpack and ice, floating in powder and playing in the park.
Flex
Flex Rating: 4.5 (1 Soft - 10 Very Stiff) - A medium flex makes every run on the mountain feel like a lap in the park.
Shape
Harmonic Twin - A true twin shape with harmonizing side cut and flex (which is softer between the bindings), allowing riders to achieve better arc in their turns without sacrificing nose and tail pop.
Core
Envi Alloy - 16% Lighter - Roxy's lightweight Envi timber blended with EAP timber core
Laminates
Quasi-Isotropic Fiberglass - Triax top glass wraps around the core, bonding to biaxial bottom glass to create a torsion box of strength and response for maximum pop and control.
Sidewalls
5 SW - UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) exterior sidewalls made from soy-based elastomer are laminated to five internal wood layers for totally bombproof sidewalls.
Base
TNT - Secret formula dual-layered fluoro base material that's super fast (the fastest available) and durable
Edges
Magnetraction - Get a grip with the edge hold and control that you deserve. Magnetraction works like a bread knife, cutting more efficiently than a straight edge because of the serration. Apply this idea to the snow. The wavy Magnetraction edges enable the board to grip and hold better in all conditions.
Binding Compatibility
2 x 4 Inserts pattern

  • Terrain: Freestyle
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Camber/Rocker/Camber
    Camber/Rocker/Camber
Camber/Rocker/Camber is a profile that’s specific to snowboards and which works because the rider’s weight flattens the two cambered areas. This design produces a strong, pressured carving zone between the rider’s feet and retains pop and carving precision at the tip and tail.
  • Shape: True Twin
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
