Rossignol Twilight Snowboard 2009: Designed specifically for the steeps of Europe with soft, shreddy snow in mind, the Rossignol Twilight Snoboard is a pure powder pinner. The shape is a longer, wider nose and narrower (tapered), shorter tail. The Twilight also boasts an earth-friendly, untreated bamboo topsheet with a killer graphic application. Just apply pow and you’re in for a fun day.

  • The Rossignol Twilight Snowboard is made with an untreated wood topsheet. It is one of the most environmentally friendly boards on the planet. However, for this reason the bamboo topsheet is prone to chipping from impacts. Chipped topsheets will not be warranted. (Chipping is cosmetic and will not structurally weaken the snowboard or effect the ride.) Warning:while you can custom stain it, this untreated topsheet will weather and wear much faster than traditional topsheets.
  • UHMW 4400 Stone Ground Base. Plain/Transparent Die-cut Base Combo with Window. Bamboo Veneer Topsheet with Laser Etched Metal Inlay
  • FREERIDE:Stiff in the nose for floatation and control, soft in the tail for smoothness. Directional shape. Flex: 7 (Medium – Stiff)
  • PROGRESSIVE RADIUS (7 to 9m):A short radius between the feet that gets longer towards the nose and tail for incredible edge grip and explosive power when you exit your turn.
  • THCORE C/K:Triple Hybrid core: 2 types of wood, Poplar and Fumé, laminated around a central Microcell beam resulting in lower weight, balance, control and grip.

Comments about Rossignol Twilight Snowboard 2009:

I rode this thing up at Mt.Baker (yes world record snowfall, Snowboard Mecca- MT.Baker!) for the Legendary Banked Slalom in 07-08 when there was some DEEP DEEP snow and many were struggling to keep afloat. The board is insanely fun because of the shape. Big nose and pinner tail makes it float super easy. Whats even more impressive is dropping cliffs and landing airs on this thing, its almost impossible to go over the bars. The tip shape just keeps pushing back up! These are super limited as Rossi only made a few. Its a recycled base material and a RAW Bamboo topsheet with a killer ink stamp so its about as enviro friendly as you can get. There is no gnarly materials protecting the top, so like description says it could chip, but I've ridden one a bunch and have had no problems. Its a great stick and rides incredibly well, like you'd expect from a company that has been sponsoring the best Big Mtn Rider in the Universe for over a decade. (...uh yeah that'd be Jeremy Jones!)

Comments about Rossignol Twilight Snowboard 2009:

Great board for the money, super lightweight, specific to powder & directional carving on hard pack. Never consider this for park, jibbing, or jumping. Big insert setback, big forebody, & narrow tail, so watch the tail width if you have big feet (11 Plus). Unfinished top sheet is prone to chipping out & mine has chipped a little @ the tail, but I don't care 'cause this thing suits my riding style. I would buy another one in a heartbeat for the price paid.

Comments about Rossignol Twilight Snowboard 2009:

this board delivers in the deep snow. more then enough float, yet very maneavereble in tight tree spots. stiff and stable tail for drops. this is THE freeride board to own when it snows. natural wood top sheet makes it at home in the woods.
