Rocker Type

AmpTek All-Mountain 60% rocker / 40% camber for more control and stability. AmpTek technology integrates reversed camber tips into a regular cambered board (between the feet), extending the sidecut radius to go all the way to the tip kicks so that this camber-to-reversed-camber construction guarantees faster transitions, more pop, smoother landings, increased floatation, more grip, more edge pressure and more control.

Comments about Rossignol One Magtek Mid Wide Snowboard 2012:

My first few days with this board were on very hard packed, icy but groomed trails in Sourh Island, New Zealand.

The board was awesome right from the first run. I felt very confident in the icy patches and just carved across them and could even make confident tens on the ice. Got to love the magne traction

When I found softer patches of snow the board was still great. Floated nicely and always felt stable and catch free

I highly recommend this board to anyone from intermediate level.

Comments about Rossignol One Magtek Mid Wide Snowboard 2012:

This is a slick looking board with camber between the feet for stability/control and reverse camber from the feet out for float and playfullness. If you look at the board with no weight on it the reverse camber is very noticable. The one misleading thing about this board is it is not as stiff as a "7" rating, it's probably more of a 5-6. It still has plenty of stiffness to do anything on the mountain. Good times.

This board is a great all mountain snow stick for beginners to intermediate riders. Magtek magnetraction is awesome, keeps the board sharp through the turns and no loss of edge!

Comments about Rossignol One Magtek Mid Wide Snowboard 2012:

This board is amazing for the price. It is made by the same guys that make all of the gnu and libtech boards, using the same techniques that go into the higher priced stuff. The magtech features 5 contact points that help this thing carve super quick and stop when you need to. Extra pop in the tail for some extra hang time, and pretty wild graphics for extra style points. The camber helps you stay on the board and off your face, so beginners to intermediate riders, this one is for you.

Comments about Rossignol One Magtek Mid Wide Snowboard 2012:

I can't wait for the snow to arrive! The board is a lot lighter than my old board, and I'm looking forward to experiencing the MagTek technology.

Since I haven't ridden the board yet, I can't speak much to that, but one warning: the picture shown here is inaccurate, at least for the 157MW. The base is inverted, therefore it actually has a white background with blue letters.

Comments about Rossignol One Magtek Mid Wide Snowboard 2012:

I ordered this board a couple weeks ago & since then can not stop staring at it's beauty!! This thing is super sexy and lightweight and from what I can tell seems to be a real nice board!!

I'm a beginner in snowboarding and have been looking around to purchase my first snowboard, needless to say I decided to get this baby right here.

Can't wait till Winter so I can shred on this baby.
