Product Info

"The Jibsaw is amazing! It's such a versatile board that just kills it at everything!" That isn't a salesman trying to pitch the Rossignol Jibsaw Magtek Snowboard, those are the words of pro boarder Moss Halladay and his experience riding the Jibsaw. With a CBF2 Laminate, you're sure to get perfect edge to edge transitions needed in the park, while the Magne-Traction 7S Edges give you the edge grip you need to scale those insanely high pipe walls. Try out the Rossignol Jibsaw Magtek Snowboard and see what all the fuss is about!

Product Details

Rocker Type

AMPTEK FreestyleA combination of 40% Rocker and 60% Camber: rocker in the nose and tail adds stability while the camber under foot adds pop and control.

Flex

Twin FreestyleA softer waist allows for easy manipulation and control, while stiffer areas under the bindings offer more pop and balance.

Flex Rating: 5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)Perfect for all mountain riding

Sidecut

True TwinA stiff nose and tail provide pop and high impact landings, while the soft waist gives balance on rails and smooth transitions.

Core

Wood CBF2Incredible stability at high speed and enhanced edge grip

Laminates

CBF2A single strip of Continuous Basalt Fiber (CBF) runs along the length of each edge of the board delivering superior grip, excellent stability, magnanimous pop and smooth edge-to-edge transitions. Basalt has a strength-to-weight ratio that exceeds that of fiberglass by a factor of 1.5 and has longer elongation at break than carbon fibers.

Base

Sintered 7500A super high density UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) sintered base with a stone finishing gives the board the fastest and most durable base to date.

Edges

Magne-Traction 7SFeaturing 7 deeps bumps distributed along the edges to maximize the edge pressure between the feet, Magne-Traction brins the once unreachable "dead area" of the board back to life for added control and stability even in the gnarliest conditions. Featuring 50% smaller bumps than the 7M style, the 7S provides a smoother ride without sacrificing continuous edge control.

Comments about Rossignol Jibsaw Magtek Snowboard 2013:

If your day at the mountain is a smorgasbord of types of riding, this stick is the spork. Piste to park with a side of powder please. It's a soft board between the contact points but flatware tips allow backseat stability. It kills the park!! Super buttery with a ton of pop. The mellow Magne-traction locks in on the hard days for a super stable ride. If your always chasing the deep stuff Rossi has some better boards but if you're tromping all over your local hill there are not many boards better industry wide. You're hard pressed to find this much tech below $500.

Comments about Rossignol Jibsaw Magtek Snowboard 2013:

I bought this off the strength of an afternoon's play when I took my board in to get repaired and they lent me this as a replacement deck.

I usually ride an Arbor Abacus - great for surfing the pow and trees, stable at high speeds etc... kinda sucky to properly pay around on.

First thing I noticed about this board was the flex, really easy to press on. The tail seems to have a good amount of pop in it. Actually I found myself popping off anything I could sight. Not sure if I was just crazy overexcited to be off my stiff cambered Abacus or not.

The board rides quick and turns are easy to initiate. It felt stable and responsive on a wide variety of off-piste pow and chundered snow, through trees and on piste.

The magnetraction is there but not too harsh - I'd ridden the Rossi Krypto in the morning and found the MT waaay too aggressive for my liking. The MT on the Jibsaw was helpful rather than control-freaky.

I'm really looking forward to having this board to play with this winter!

this board is gona be your best deal out there...it is a all around great freeriding park and pow board...the board is stiff so it allows for great pop and good edge change. the early rise in the tip and tail also allow it to be amazingly playful when you want it to be on any jib or flat ground butter you can think of...This Thing Rides AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

Comments about Rossignol Jibsaw Magtek Snowboard 2013:

Super board for the price, camber dominant with rocker in the tip and tail. More precise control and still with Magne Traction! You will not find the combination of tech for this price. Biggest pro to me is the full wrapped metal edge. GNU and Lib fold the edge in the tip and tail so there is no metal edge, and that wears out really fast. I know they try to sell that as a "pro" being "you can more easily fix that yourself" but I found that argument false; it leads to those edges breaking down faster and they are a real pain to fix. This board is now my everyday ride.

Rented a jibsaw on a trip to vail. When I got home I went looking for a deal on line. 58% off at evo, free shipping! The thing stuck to the walls of a half pipe like none other. If you even think about half pipes buy this board. Very playful, tons of pop, not as soft as a lot of "jib" boards. Magne-traction is awesome in ice or sketchy terrain. 2013 graphics are sick!

Comments about Rossignol Jibsaw Magtek Snowboard 2013:

Purchased the Jibsan for Magtek and Camber/ reverse Camber technologies. The board is more flexible than the K2 Jibpan I had been riding. As a result the board is more forgiving. Have used it in the East in wet snow and on ice. In both situations, it worked well.

I used this snowboard about 20 times. Great board lots of pop, great carving and edge hold. Good for park and all mountain riding. However it did crack between my binding longways with the grain of the board. Im not sure if it was my fault or a bad model, but I sent pics to evo and they replaced got a new board in a week with no expense to me.

Comments about Rossignol Jibsaw Magtek Snowboard 2013:

I really like this board for the price. The mellow magna traction is nice. The board really handles the entire mountain well. The nose and tail are taller than all my other boards and with them being rockered the board floats pow really well. It is also stiff enough to handle drops, chunder cookies and high speeds, but playfull enough to ride some afternoon park. The nose and tail take a little more effort to get onto presses than your average park board, but with a flex rating of 7, this board still does pretty well considering. When in the park this board does excel much better in the jump line than it does on the jibs. All around great board for someone who rides the whole mountain.

Comments about Rossignol Jibsaw Magtek Snowboard 2013:

The Jibsaw is a super nice board. It is flexible but not really that soft. It is super easy to ride switch and although it is great for jibbing and pressing it can also carve and handl speed as well. I have not had an opportunity to ride in deep powder but I suspect it will be fine.

This board is incredible. While it was specifically designed for park performance, I am able to comfortably take it anywhere on the mountain. It handles well and while it can get a little wobbly at high speeds, its understandable considering it is a shorter board. Love love love this board, it has become my go-to snowboard.

I bought this board as a backup park board to my 2014 Burton hate. Funny thing is my hate has become my back up due to the versatility of this shredder!

It's great all over the mountain. Super stable when straight lining, great pop and carves like a dream.

I have found a new board that I can and want to take everywhere.

Comments about Rossignol Jibsaw Magtek Snowboard 2013:

I've been snowboarding for more than 15 years and have been teaching since 2007. I'm now an AASI-level two certified instructor and would have a hard time finding a board as versatile as the Jibsaw.

At first glance, the name makes it seem like a rail/box board, but it is not. It's actually more of an all-mountain board. It's more flexible than it's rating would lead you to believe, but not noodly soft. It's got nice pop and easily handles landings.

The rocker is new to me and the board is surprisingly quick edge to edge. Its magnatraction grips ice nicely and rips through hard pack. It tends to get a bit chattery at speed, but I imagine a longer board would cut that down.

Overall, I'm very impressed and pleased with this purchase.

I'm an intermediate rider and was looking for a good all-around board... but the price on this one got me. The product recommendation is for a freeride board, but I've been using it all mountain and love it. Good flexibility and very forgiving on a newer rider from the Magtek edge. It did pretty well in really deep, fresh powder too (~18 inches).
