Rossignol Diva Magtek Snowboard - Women's 2012

The slay-it-all performance of the Rossignol Diva Magtek Rocker Snowboard has been often imitated but never equaled. Confident, aggressive lady riders will appreciate the combination of AmpTek rocker and Magne-Traction sidecut for effortless float in the deep and ninja-like grip on the hardpack. With rich beautiful graphics the Rossignol Diva Magtek Snowboard will bring class and sass to the backcountry, groomers or park.
Rocker Type
AmpTek Freestyle 60% camber and 40% Patented AmpTek technology integrates reversed camber tips into a regular cambered board (between the feet), extending the sidecut radius to go all the way to the tip kicks so that this camber-to-reversed-camber construction guarantees faster transitions, more pop, smoother landings, increased floatation, more grip, more edge pressure and more control. The AmpTek Freestyle tech in this board especially emphasizes super pop and keeps the board super stable, with stiffer tips and a softer waist, and is an awesome combo with Magne-Traction that maximizes the edge pressure between the feet so you can ride with more control and stability in the gnarliest conditions.
Flex
Flex Rating – 7 (1 Stiffes – 10 Softest)
Construction and Core
The Twinwood 3 C/K core is the third generation of Rossignol’s TwinWoods and has a super low profile that allows more weight to be lost while keeping the carbon and Kevlar® fibers in. It has a lower swing rater with more dampening and more punch than previous versions.
Shape
Directional twin for smooth carving and effortless pow runs
Aggressive lady riders will love this board. Magne-Traction technology gives you more control than ever and the AmpTek freestyle rocker will allow you to carve better than Michelangelo.
Sidewalls, Edges and Base
Magne-Traction maximizes the edge pressure between the feet so you can ride with more control and stability in the gnarliest conditions everywhere
Super speedy and durable Sintered 4400 base

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker
    Rocker/Camber/Rocker
Rocker/Camber/Rocker shapes seek to give you both hard-carving edgehold on firm snow from camber underfoot with enhanced turnability and float in powder from the rockered tip and tail. This profile is increasingly popular for freeride boards designed primarily for soft snow.
  • Flex Rating: Stiff
    Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
