Rossignol Diva Magtek Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011 – Exhilarating, like running naked through a bee storm. Not that we suggest you do that. When you rock this board made with a mind-boggling mix of carbon, Kevlar®, biaxial fibers, all terrain flex, Magne Traction edges, early rise tips and flickering, and dream-struck art, you’ll feel the rush. The slay-it-all performance of the Rossignol Diva Magtek Rocker Snowboard has been often imitated but never equaled. And with the addition of AmpTek Freestyle, it’s taking all mountain freestyle snowboarding to another galaxy.

Product Details

Flex

Flex Rating: 7 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff) This all mountain freestyle board’s directional twin shape features a perfectly symmetrical nose and tail but with inserts that are located 1 to 2 centimeters towards the back. It is slightly directional for more versatility but you can still easily adjust your stance to ride twin if needed, and the stiffer flex rating of 7 is perfect for the lady rider who loves plenty of response.

Construction and Core

The Twinwood 3 C/K core is the third generation of Rossignol’s TwinWoods and has a super low profile that allows more weight to be lost while keeping the carbon and Kevlar® fibers in. It has a lower swing rater with more dampening and more punch than previous versions. Patented AmpTek technology integrates reversed camber tips into a regular cambered board (between the feet), extending the sidecut radius to go all the way to the tip kicks so that this camber-to-reversed-camber construction guarantees faster transitions, more pop, smoother landings, increased floatation, more grip, more edge pressure and more control. The AmpTek Freestyle tech in this board especially emphasizes super pop and keeps the board super stable, with stiffer tips and a softer waist, and is an awesome combo with Magne-Traction that maximizes the edge pressure between the feet so you can ride with more control and stability in the gnarliest conditions.

Shape

Magne-Traction starts with a full wrap steel edge that surrounds the incredibly durable construction, ripping through the chop and crud with ease, and creates a tighter sidecut radius which turns with ease but still can crank it up when you need to.

Amptek Rocker Camber: No matter what your friends tell you, Rossignol’s Amptek Rocker is for everyone. This innovative technology makes riding easier, and when we say easier we mean everything from the park to the pow. Amptek Rocker is a negative arch (like the bottom of a rocking chair) board profile with the lowest points between the bindings and highest point towards the tip and tail. This not only lets you glide effortlessly through powder, pop huge off your ollies, and stay stable as you huck off jumps, Rossignol’s Amptek Rocker lets you hold your edge and initiate turns like it was nothing.

Base

The Rossignol Diva MagTek Rocker Snowboard features the super speedy and durable Sintered 4400 base.

Comments about Rossignol Diva Magtek Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011:

This board is the most fun ever! Light and easy to ride everywhere. I especially like how easy it is to ride thru trees and turn on steeper slopes. Really easy to hold edge with MagneTraction and the rocker helps in powder and deeper snow. You never dive in and float over everything! Super easy and super fun!

Comments about Rossignol Diva Magtek Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011:

this board replaced my beginners board that i beat the heck out of over the years. I havent tried many boards in my life and im no expert but my riding ability has skyrocketed on the first day out with this board. im an east coast boarder meaning used to ice-boarding and this handles so well. very forgiving, and easy to turn despite the fact that i got it 10cm longer than my first board. in comparison to friends' boards that ive tried, its a bit on the heavier side, and its a rougher ride when trails arent so well groomed. its a give and take with a board of this stiffness. other than that, I LOVE THIS BOARD!!!

Comments about Rossignol Diva Magtek Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011:

I bought the 148 cm Diva, and it exceeded my expectations for all mountain riding. It is extremely stable to land jumps, carves the best of all boards I have owned, it turns on a dime in moguls, and it is super stable.

However, I was disappointed with it in the park. I expected it to be much softer and much more playfull. It is too stiff for the park. I tried it, and I stopped using it in the park.

Comments about Rossignol Diva Magtek Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011:

I heard good things about the Rossi Diva, so I tried it out. It actually wasn't as big a deal as I was expecting. It was pretty ordinary to me. It is solid and damp, which can be good or bad depending on what you're looking for. If you just want a board ride around that doesn't need to pop or leave the ground, this will be fine for you. I prefer a board that is light, poppy, and quick, and this doesn't have the snap I'm looking for. Intermediates will like this as it's pretty predictable and carves fine. If you are more advanced, it will go fast, but it isn't playful. It doesn't have the right flex for dedicated park riding. Mag is nice to have to grip on groomers and hardpack.

I can't find anything wrong with this board. I'm a beginner/intermediate, and using this board seemed to make me a better snowboarder! It is so smooth and has lots of give so you can correct yourself before you bite the dust! Awesome!

Comments about Rossignol Diva Magtek Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011:

I really enjoy the amptek technology on this snowboard. It's flexible, making it really easy to do nose/tail presses. Butters really well! The rockered tips making it much easier to ride in powder than my fully cambered board, but having the regular camber between the feet provide stability that fully rockered boards lack.
I was nervous about getting a board with magne-traction since I've never tried it before, but I think that feature really helps get your edge into the mountain.
Overall, I think this is a really good all mountain board. Great for park and pow. The graphics are pretty sweet too!

Comments about Rossignol Diva Magtek Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011:

I started snowboarding last season on a hand me down board just to get started. I got this board so that I could try and improve this year. I liked the magne traction because i board in the east and it is always icy here. Anyway this board is great, its fast, its flexible, its light, it carves into groomers, and I can feel the rocker when turning so I have been catching less edges. The graphics are pretty cool too. Good all around board, I have defiantly improved my snowboarding with it, and I've probably gotten about 10 days in this year so far.

This is an amazing board. Tried it as a demo and had to have it. Very easy to maneuver and incredibly responsive. Was equally as good in powder and packed powder, and even saw my riding improve.
