New For 2009! Rossignol Diva Mag Snowboard 2009 Women’s: Don’t pretend to be a snowboarding star, become one on the Rossignol Diva Mag Snowboard. The Diva is designed with Magne Traction Sidecut and high gloss finishing to permit any lady rider to take the stage in freestyle snowboarding. Get over the fact that you never had the lead part in the high-school musical, and take the spotlight in freestyle shredding on the new Rossignol Diva Mag Snowboard.

  • Sidecut:Magne Traction
  • Style:Directional Twin
  • Flexibility Rating:6/10
  • Rossignol took the award winning and top selling Diva and took it to the next level in every way possible. In terms of performance They have added Magne-Traction, and didn't stop there. Next week added clear windows and added some lace, post applied Diva Badge, diamond studs on the top and sidewall..on and on.
  • What is Magne-Traction? On a traditional snowboard, most of the pressure is pushed through the feet down and out to the widest part of the board, the contact points of the tip and tail. The least amount of pressure is between the feet. Magne-Traction maximizing the edge pressure between the feet. Now you can ride with more control in the worst of worst conditions. Imagine trying to cut a tomato with a straight knife vs. a serrated blade that is similar to what it is like to snowboard with Magne-Traction

Comments about Rossignol Diva Mag - Women's 2009:

I used to ride a Burton Feelgood ES and demo'd the Rossi Diva Mag 144 last year. I was so blown away by the Diva that I bought one this year.

I ride a lot of moguls and do a lot of high-speed carving. The Diva is not as stiff as my Feelgood ES, so it's better for me in the moguls, but still feels more stable than the Feelgood at high speed. I don't know why this board is so stable at speed, but it is.

This board has legendary edge hold! I no longer have to scan the hill for ice as I speed down it, because the snow condition simply doesn't matter when riding the Diva. If I need to scrub speed rapidly in order to avoid an obstacle, I'm just as able to scrub on ice as on any other type of snow.

In my opinion, Rossignol does a better job of magnetraction than the inventors of magnetraction, Lib Tech. With a standard camber (as opposed to the negative camber boards that Lib makes), the Diva isn't the most playful and forgiving board, but it gives me guts that I never knew I had on the steeps and ice.

Oh, and this board is hands-down the coolest looking womens' board I've seen. The topsheet has some metalic stuff in it that changes colors from orange to green depending on the lighting. Also, there's lace embedded into the board that you can see from the top. Yes, lace! It's like having sexy lingerie in my snowboard! Also, there are rhinestones embedded into the sidewall and a big rhinestone stuck to the top of the board (which fell off when tuning my board, but I was able to superglue it back on).

In closing, if you're a girl who wants a board that gives you the confidence to scream straight down the mountain on any type of snow, this is it.

Comments about Rossignol Diva Mag - Women's 2009:

All around good board. It works extremely well on ice, you'll hardly notice it except for the scraping noise. It's quite fast, and not bulky at all... Unlike those rental boards.
However, I've had a bad experience with Rossignol in general when it comes to dings and scrapes.
So this is nothing new to this company's boards.
Be prepared for a pretty sctaped up board after a weekend of spring skiing and running into trees/protruding rocks.

Comments about Rossignol Diva Mag - Women's 2009:

Rossignol Diva Mag? No, i prefer to call it Rossignol Diva Mag-nificent! I've used a number of snowboards since I've started snowboarding and most don't compare to what this baby can deliver! It has speed, stability, and a great pop to it. More of an intermediate-advanced board because of its hardness, beginners can also ride with ease. It has fantastic grip on slushy or icier runs but also rides with ease in powder. I couldn't be happier that I chose to purchase this board. It performs well but also has an awesome design that's not too gaudy or girlish. The blue in the board is a little hard to see on cloudier days, but when in the sunlight, it's simply amazing in color. It's definitely a tough board and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone who enjoys a good day of shredding some snow.

    Service and delivery comments:

Evo gear is awesome when it comes down to getting a product to you. I've ordered a number of products. Great service and helpful staff. The boxing was great and well packaged. I definitely recommend this site!

Comments about Rossignol Diva Mag - Women's 2009:

I absolutely love this board! This board works great on fresh powder and icy conditions. It offers a really smooth ride compared to the 5150 I've been riding. I have so much more control because of the magne-traction on this board. I could feel the difference the first time out. I don't think I would ever buy another board without magne-traction. Thanks Rossignol for making an all around awesome board.

Comments about Rossignol Diva Mag - Women's 2009:

I love this board! The magne traction is awesome, wouldn't get a board without it now. Only issue is that it's not super fast but it's a great all mountain board and does well in powder and the park. I have flow bindings on it which I wasn't sure about at first but it's a great combo. It's been a great board from the icy midwest hills to big Utah and Colorado powder. Only issue is that it dings pretty easy. It's pretty beat up already but I have been riding it almost every day for the past 2.5 months so I guess that's to be expected. I don't think my snowboard classes running over my board helps either, lol. I'd totally recommend this board.
