The Rossignol District Amptek Snowboard is an user-friendly freestyle board for the aspiring park and pipe riders. Rossignol's Amptek Auto-Turn combines with slight camber for a forgiving yet stable ride. A softer symmetrical flex makes the District an easy-to-ride board that's playful and gives you the confidence to progress your skills.
Rocker Type
AmpTek Auto Turn - A blend of 80% Rocker and 20% Camber creates an all-mountain rocker so you can ride everything in sight with ease. The majority-rocker profile allows for nimbleness in powder, while the camber under the bindings allows for precise turns on hardpack.

Flex
Flex Rating: 5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - Perfect for all mountain riding
Twin Freestyle - A softer waist allows for easy manipulation and control, while stiffer areas under the bindings offer more pop and balance.
Core
Wood [3510 + 5620 + 6420] - A single type of wood that's vertically laminated to give you durability and comfort without breaking the bank
Laminates
Glass Fiber - Has greater elongation before break than carbon and comes in multiple weights and weavings, making it Rossignol's #1 choice for customized flex and torsional resistance while also stabilizing the mechanical properties of their woodcores over time
Sidewalls
ABS - Offered as walls or built-in cores, ABS provides enhanced durability while keeping the core safe from moisture.
Base
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Extruded 1320 - A lower density factory finished extruded base: fast and easy to tune

  • Terrain: Freestyle
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker
    Rocker/Camber/Rocker
Rocker/Camber/Rocker shapes seek to give you both hard-carving edgehold on firm snow from camber underfoot with enhanced turnability and float in powder from the rockered tip and tail. This profile is increasingly popular for freeride boards designed primarily for soft snow.
  • Shape: True Twin
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
